Also, they have a variety of homemade hot subs 2 for $18.99....just perfect for sharing or buying extra to eat later. Their staff is terrific, so friendly and kind. A great atmosphere to be in. “Just visiting during the July 4th week. Went here 3x! Loved it! Wraps! Salad! Panini! All excellent. Good prices. Caesar wrap. Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap. Buffalo Chicken panini. Chai. Coffee. Chocolate chip cookie. All in walking distance from where we stayed. Comfortable seating. Fast service.”

“Some of the best food we've had in a restaurant in a very long time. The Meatloaf Manhattan along with their gravy was to die for. The macaroni and cheese turned something simple into being mind blowing. The ribs we're probably the best I've ever had. Even the chicken chunks we're incredible. I liked the BBQ sauce so much I had to take a jar back to Michigan.”

“Great hometown ice cream/sandwich shop. Always fresh, fast and friendly. Love the thick chocolate shakes with a fat straw! Pairs nicely with a footlong hotdog. He shredded chicken sandwiches are nummy too. Coke is nice and strong. Sizes run a little small. Ice cream is soft serve. Decent prices. They employ local young people.”

Great presentation for families with kids!! It's a crying shame of what Wilson's has been allowed to become!”

“First time at a City Barbecue- we’re from Montana but Southern roots: we had the “Not A Sloppy Joe “ sandwich for lunch- delicious!! Best hush puppies I’ve had in South Carolina, and my only regret is that this chain isn’t out west…yet!”

“I love this place and their coffee, but the workers/owners are always loudly bad-mouthing others, especially their employees. Not only is this disruptive to customers trying to work, but it is extremely unprofessional. Not to mention, very uncomfortable for everyone who overhears it. This is every single time I come in, not an isolated event. The service at the counter always feels rushed and unwelcoming, like your presence is an inconvenience. If the professional and service were better, I would be much more inclined to go more often, but this really deters me from returning. Other than the service, the coffee is so good, and it is the only place in town I can study in a mostly quiet area. I would recommend getting the flavors half-sweet though, as it can be quite overwhelming in sweetness.”
