I have a special place in my heart for Korean BBQ and this is among the best I've ever had. If you've never tried it, trust the wait staff to point you to the best stuff on the menu. “Finally made our first trip to Oak and Ember on a Friday evening. We made reservations, so we were promptly seated; oddly, the restaurant was only about half full. We had the burnt ends and cheese curds to start. Cheese curds were pretty standard, but the ends were fantastic - some crispy, some a little fatty, all covered in BBQ sauce.

Main courses were brisket and pull pork; again, both cooked perfectly. Prices were a little high, but portions were very large. Drink prices were also on the high side (4 cocktails came to $64). They have a HUGE bourbon list with different flight options if that is your thing. Wait staff was not very attentive, but not rude as some other reviews have stated. Plenty of menu options (looking forward to trying the meatloaf!), so we will be back.“

“It was my first time having a hot pot. The associate who greeted us was great! She explained everything very detailed. The food and broth were delicious and fresh. However, our actual attendee for our table made us feel rushed. Very short, when we asked questions and almost downright rude to a point. I would definitely go back to see if I could pick a different attendee for my table. The restaurant itself was great!“

“Our server, Lauren was absolutely amazing! It’s rare to find someone so young and upbeat and helpful. We would definitely be back just to see her. The fact that the beer was wonderfully delicious is just a bonus.“

“This my weekly place as I go either with my wife or other friends, The only reason Im giving 4 stars cause sometimes we have to return the medium cooked steak to be cooked as we ordered “well done”. One time we returned it, they put it on fire for too long and came back super dry.
Other than that, the waiters are very friendly and check on us few times, prices as expected to be and portion is very good.
