“On February 3rd (2024) four of us enjoyed a relaxing and delicious evening at Six Horses Tavern. I was searching for a cozy place and did not expect to find such a prize in a hotel. It is my understanding that the very talented couple running the tavern actually own the business within the hotel. Kudos to them! With the new year, the tables are set with linen and white china-the perfect background for Chef Ian's rotating and creative cuisine. An eclectic shuffling of melodies flow through the cozy space. My most recent experience was a delight. The strip steak was seasoned and grilled to perfection accompanied by potatoes lyonnaise and steamed broccoli. Not only delicious but a beautiful presentation emphasized by Brandon's twirl of the plate. Dessert of poached baby Bosc pear in Beaujolais sauce ended dinner on a high note. “I go to the Leopard about twice a year. Always great service, never crowded, and a fine meal. Nice touch with a complimentary appetizer sample. Expensive, yes but not crazy. The rack of lamb was outstanding, four double bone chops cooked medium rare as ordered. Ask the server to split a salad as they are huge and very willing to do this. The Caesar dala is great.“
“Very nice facility with a weight/fitness room, indoor and outdoor courts, outdoor pool, lounging area, and an activities room with several classes including yoga, Barre and personal training available. Also a cafe is open during the warmer part of the year. I've been teaching the yoga class for over a year, the staff is very nice, accommodating and friendly, the building is very big up to dat and also has very clean private shower stalls and lockerooms.“
“This was our first time dining at Cru Uncorked and we definitely will be coming back. Our server, AL, was a consummate professional. His recommendations for my drink was spot on to what I wanted and his description of my entree was as well. The ambiance was reminiscent of the club restaurants of long ago. Lovely. I can't wait to return and dine on the gorgeous patio. A memorable experience, to be sure.“
“Amazing experience, can’t wait to go back! Pancakes and sausage I’ve had were probably the best breakfast I’ve tasted. Local maple syrup was a wonderful touch. Even butter was very tasty. Staff were amazing from waitresses to the cook who all wanted to make sure that my experience was exceptional. Service was extremely quick and despite busy dining room, my order came right up. I also loved the atmosphere - elevated breakfast diner experience. Thank you so much for wonderful morning. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu!“
“Jam-packed on a Saturday evening but food, atmosphere, and especially service was on point. Erica took great care of us, her recommendations and suggestions were perfect. Some dishes the group loved were the cheddar biscuits (of course), whipped feta, blackened shrimp capellini, and butternut squash carbonara.“
“We ordered a salad topped with salmon, French Onion Soup and the sirloin and mashed potatoes. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the salmon served medium as ordered. It was very good. The French onion soup was excellent with plenty of onions in a tasty broth. The sirloin was cooked medium as ordered. It tasted great but was a bit tough to chew. Service was very good - friendly and efficient.“
“Our leadership team went here for happy hour, and it was wonderful. The variety of appetizers worked for all of us. Unique specialty drinks are available but didnt appeal to the 4 of us. “I had the flat iron steak. It was cooked perfectly and came with a delicous crispy potato croquet. Others I was with had the fish dinner and mushroom burger both meals came with perfectly cooked hand cut French fries. We all are looking forward to a return visit.“
