I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“Got the wing sampler. Was reasonably good but semi over cooked. House made chips were super cooked and greasy. No seasoning. Dr pepper was fire. Buffalo chicken dip was fire. Games were on. Overall it was good but not great. Expensive. May return for different angle and items. Never say no on the first round.“

“It's a college bar. Not much more to say about that.Not to bad on weekdays. Its a nice bar to stop and have a drink after work. And maybe shoot gave a pool. Dont try to play pool though on the weekends when the college kids are in. Because they use it as a table to sit on and put drinks on and spill things on and lay down and take a nap on and puke on.“

“We were kindly welcomed and seated immediately. Our waitress Michelle was amazing! She was extremely polite, patient, and helpful with all of our needs. The food was spectacular! Overall, one of the best experiences compared to the other times we’ve come here!“

“Uhm, don't sleep on this location. Service was executed with a smile and food came out hot and sizzling. Applebee's ain't dead yet! The signs of life are at this location, to my shock and awe. I ordered the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp and the chicken was incredibly hot, juicy, and delicious. My Perfect Margarita was indeed perfect, blended exquisitely with just enough of a kick without it being sloppy. Our server was genuinely nice and attentive to our needs. The manager Steven (sp?) came over to say hi and introduce himself which is still a nice touch proving customer service isn't dead. I haven't lived in Akron since 1998 but I'd come back just for another delightful meal here. Whole family really was eating good in our own hometown neighborhood!
