“I use the speedy cafe several times per week. The breakfast wraps or lunch wraps seem to be what I orger most often. They hit the spot and are easy to handle when on the road. They are also priced right. I like their pannis but they are not driving friendly. Their frozen coffees and lemonades are really good too. I had their fries, but was not impressed and felt they were overpriced especially for the portion size. Fast food resturantes nearby would be a better choice for this item. The Speedway is hit or miss as to it cleanliness at the coffee station that is next to the cafe.“

“I have been to this location twice this year. Both my experiences have been great. Today I tried something different, Chicken Noodle soup. It was good for most part nothing fancy or super flavorful. I really love the Broccoli Chedder soup & the BBQ Chicken sandwich. Those are my go to that I get everytime.“

“Absolutely spectacular food. If you aren't sure what to try, get "Bourbon Chicken with Spicy Rice and (Cajun) Spuds, with sauce on it all". The Spicy Rice isn't actually "spicy", it is really just thoroughly seasoned, so don't be afraid of that if you don't like pepper-spicy foods. Same with the Cajun Spuds.

Service is always extremely quick if you order one of their main offerings, they've got their system down and can crank through a line quickly. The issue comes if you order something less popular, such as salmon or blackened chicken. So if you're in a rush, just stick to the Bourbon Chicken and you'll get your food quick!

The atmosphere is a bit lacking and old. No music in there, which isn't necessary but would be a bit nice. The sitting area is probably quite clean, but it just always has that look of being dirty. Like the whites are now yellowed, and no amount of cleaning can get them back to white. Most of their business seems to be take-out, so I don't think they care much about renovating inside. This is perfectly fine with me as the food is SO GOOD, but I figured it'd be worth mentioning here in case that was a deal-breaker for someone. For instance, I wouldn't recommend this place as a first date location, but if you work in the area and just need quick take-out food, this is your spot.

Parking: Street parking around the building, some of those side streets are generally packed and can be a nightmare to drive through or park on. That being said, I've never NOT had a parking spot, it just gets a bit crammed.“

“Honestly, when I first came to this shop, I was impressed by the options. They had vegan milk which most bubble tea places DON'T have. So if you love Thai tea, but are lactose intolerant this is a great place to go.

Of the 4x we've gone, we've had a nice experience. When we spoke to the owner, it was probably our most memorable because he was personable, attentive, sociable and had a great way of connecting with his customers. I think many of the younger generations have a hard time being able to wrap their minds around the fact that they are selling their personality as well when you serve. People want to engage with kind, approachable individuals. There have been a couple time where the servers weren't as pleasant. Sure small talk is difficult, but it is a skill that can take you far. ? To stay in business is to sell an experience and a personality. As much as I hate acknowledging it, it's the truth. Your warmth affects how customers interact with your sales. If you make it a great place to be at, many people return.
Just a kind tip to those who work this line of job. You don't have to be best friends with your customer, but treat them like you want them to return. ?
And I know it may not be your ideal job as a youth, but remember the principle, if you can do well in this service job, you can succeed at anything you put your mind to. ?
In terms of the teas, the fruit teas are my favorite. The Thai tea is my favorite, cause they brew it and don't use powders, which I personally prefer. All their fruit teas and teas are all brewed/steeped. I enjoyed the grapefruit, the ? butterfly tea, and the peach was really good.

“The coffee Pettibone serves is outstanding: true 3rd wave with amazing profiles, not the burned-n-bitter-made-for-milk beans so many roasters generate! Try their pourovers and taste the difference. The food here is really first class too, and priced fairly for non mass-produced creations. Many choices too. Avoid crowds and come early or after peak times.“

“If I'm being honest I used to frequent the downtown Dayton location and this location isn't comparable. That being said the atmosphere isn't bad but it's not a traditional relaxing coffee shop vibe. Beyond that the drinks are overall decent but my main issue is with the food menu if you can call it that. They have a really good vegetarian breakfast sandwich but you'll have to go in or drive through to get it. It isn't on any of the menus. I don't know what other food they offer or if they do as it's not online anywhere and I don't go in because as I said it's not my vibe.

Vegetarian options: There's one vegetarian sandwich (not vegan, has eggs and dairy) but it is very good.

Parking: Parking is located in the rear of the building.“
