Small, somewhat cramped, and a perfect fit for the food. The opening course of sweet potato and pumpkin arancini and the burrata were heavenly. Apparently the pumpkin soup is so good it caused my foodie guest to ask the chef for the recipe. He obliged in a great conversation ... My rack of lamb was perfectly cooked and everyone had a spectacular meal. The wine selection is off the chart and the service is impeccable and friendly.“

“We would have given 4.5 stars if that would have been possible. There’s a large menu with healthy choice options. Our meals were plated nicely and tasted good, but took forever to be served. That and lukewarm coffee were the reasons for less than a perfect score.“

“First visit today. Coffee was a bit bitter but maybe i should expect that showing up around 3pm. But with some added water and extra cream it turned out to be very good. My wife had the breakfast burrito (very tasty) and i had an apple walnut (i believe) muffin. It was very tasty as well. We also ordered some bagels to go. They were light and fluffy which was nice but somewhat flavorless. Given the opportunity i would return. The staff was very friendly“

“Fabulous steaming hot bowls of Pho with fresh Thai basil, bean sprouts and lime wedges for toppings. That, and hoisin suace, fish sauce, Sriracha, and soy sauce to mix in. ALWAYS try the broth first before adding anything to it as a sign of respect for the chef. The broth is the key for any good Pho and this was amazing!“

​It is a small hole-in-the-wall place, and parking is super easy. Most people seem to do carry-out, which makes sense because the service is very slow and casual. Definitely only sit in if you have time to relax and wait!

Due to a systems problem, she couldn't do this, nor could they accept my gift card in payment for my meal. (Not a problem) When my friend and I paid and prepared to leave, the hostess gave me a First Watch gift card "to make up for the inconvenience". These folks know how to do Customer Service. “Our family has been coming to Cavu for years! The owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating. The lattes and coffee drinks are the best we have found! All syrups are handmade…not a pump syrup to be found! The coffee itself is delicious but the caramel latte, butterscotch latte, peppermint iced coffee and eggnog latte are our favorites!! As an added bonus, I work for a local school district and they volunteer their time and provide delicious coffee drinks to our staff on a regular basis.“
