“I always enjoy coming here for the clam chowder and carrot cake. Normally, the service and food is very good. Today was an off day since they seemed understaffed and ran out of carrot cake. (Our server did a good job but it seemed like only she and another person were dealing with customers. It was a Sunday afternoon and we had a very large party (about 17 people)).“

“I recently dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lovely, especially since we were able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. Our waitress, Emma, was exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Quiet, calm atmosphere with very friendly staff and very good service...The food is very well.prepared and the presentation is very appealing to the eyes.. The quality is very good as well.portion sizes are just the right size......Have not tired the desserts and I willing to go out on a limb and say they are also very delicious....the presentation and the cheese cake all look very appetizing to end the dining experience............with a variety of wines to suit any wine drinkers palate...........I recommend this place with high regards to the staff the meals and atmosphere“

“First time going, definitely not the last time. Everything we had was delicious. It was like home cooking!!! Didn't have dessert, didn't have enough room for it. But the way everything tasted, I'm sure it would have been great too. A must go if you've never been.“

“The 7oz Filet Mignon/1 side special brought us in to celebrate the end of summer break. Waitress didn't seem happy when she heard what we were going to order. Her personality improved when I ordered a beer. The bread was fantastic and did not last long. She picked up the bread plate and said that didn't last long. She did not offer more. Usually, wait staff offers additional bread. During her next visit, I asked for more bread. She did bring it. Food was excellent, but the server was not very friendly. Hate to sound petty, but we have had excellent food and service there for years.“
