“Uncle Johns is a local landmark. We had not been here in about 10 years and we were not dissapointed. Waitress was AWESOME! Great prices and portion sizes. We shared fries and I had a burger, my husband had cheesesteak burger. Both were very good. Parked right across the street. We will be back alot sooner! Great job!!!“

“I visited this week with some friends. I asked if the pea salad was the original recipe and the waitress said yes. Let me tell ya…. It tasted the exact same! So delicious. My first job in the late 80’s was making this salad at Smittys Underground so I knew what to expect. Great job keeping things original! I’ll be back!“

Oh and take in all the OG pics on the wall and the mural out front is about the be redone soooo hurry in……..groovy and excellent are the two best words to describe this joint!!!“

“My mother and I visited today, she is 87 and the customer service was phenomenal! they saw us coming and opened all the doors and set us close by. The food was fabulous, The guacamole incredible! there was not one aspect of our visit today that was subpar everything was wonderful. Great job!“

“4 stars bc the 2 beers I had were alright. Both IPAs, and neither were particularly hoppy. For the hazy IPA - almost tasted like they didn't clean their draft lines. The people I was with liked their beers at least. I'd give the place another chance if we're ever back in town.
They had about 20 of their own beers on draft, a decent selection of NA beer, specialty cocktails, and 4-packs to go.
I like that they offered different sizes for your draft: 2.5oz, 16oz, and 20oz available for most.“

Their meat and seasoning/marinade is fantastic, that are blended with the perfect amount of rice, beans, greens, and other ingredients. The burritos are a great size, perfect blend of ingredients and always consistent. The tacos are bangers too. I’ve ate here 20+ times now and I have never been disappointed. That’s hard to beat!! “Never had a bad experience from the food truck or dining in. Best tacos we’ve ever had. Our favorite are the berria street tacos and the shrimp street tacos. Best tacos ever!“

“This is mine and my husbands date spot. We typically enjoy the food and the wait staff. This past time, the food happened to be old (mashed potatos seemed like they sat for quite a while and bread stale), but that will not stop us from eating there as that was the only time we have ever had a problem. Great place to try!“
