“The owner spent alot of time studying English pubs . I've spent alot of time in English pubs and this is pretty close . It's a cross between a pub and resturant . It definitely has a proper pub atmosphere to it and I definitely enjoyed it. I had the fish and chips which were definitely a good representation as close as I've had in the usa . “My family and I had dinner here tonight. Everything was going good till my dad and step mom decided to order dessert. My step mom said the cheesecake was pretty good. However, the brownie was a different story. It was hard as a rock! It was definitely old, dried out and probably overcooked. My dad almost broke a tooth!We like the Grandview and we will return. “Well, this is a hard one. As a man, you would love the tvs bar tvs loudness, uh no. I know it's a sports bar but I wouldn't want to go there for big games. They have a lovely dining area, but I think the tvs would be loudThere are also specials and a pool table.i thought our server was great good hot food. Handicap parking and restrooms. The Parkinging lot was pretty full. I guess it all depends on the couples taste..Parking: It's in a square so others are there to go to the other stores.Wheelchair accessibility: Restrooms for handicapMen's was nice, but women's toilets need to be clean. I don't like blowers, but that's what they have.“

“This place is such a cute small town vibe, but nothing about the food is down played. The pictures truly don't do this Salem, OH fan favorite justice. The flavor was impeccable & portion sizes were adequate. I had the turkey pot pie (a seasonal item) that was to die for! The Italian sausage sandwich was hearty & delicious while the fried pickles were the perfect bite each time: they got an 8 on my personal fried pickle rating - which is pretty darn good.“
“Shillings Mill is a definite must. For people looking for an off the beat in path, whole in the wall, kind of place this is perfect. There are a couple of little signs that let you know you are in the right place. Just had a couple of beers but we will definitely be back. The bartender was friendly and the beer was cold.“
