Burger Restaurants near Buckeye Lake

“By and large, Wendy’s has a better hamburger than McDonald’s. Have been going to the Buckeye Lake Ohio Wendy’s for 25+ years. Today was a first. I had not eaten in the dining room since before Covid. I usually get drive thru but my husband and I decided to eat in today. What a terrible disappointment. I wanted to place a separate take out order so my husband got the straws and napkins and got a table while I waited on my salad to take home. There were only 2 other tables of people so the store was not that busy. The store was dirty with food all over the floor. When I complained, I was told that they are under construction. I told them that food all over the floor is not construction related. One trash can was over-flowing and there was no place to put your garbage. They were out of spoons in the dining room so I had to ask for spoons for our frosties. There was no ketchup in the dining room so I had to go back and ask for ketchup. My second trip to the counter, I asked if there was a manager around. The cashier pointed to a lady. She looked in my direction and then turned her back and walked away. This is the worse experience I have ever had at this store in the 25+ years I have been going there. I’m so disappointed. But yes I would still recommend Wendy’s food.“

“For a late night visit at 10:14 pm they staff was friendly and prompt. Foodnwas in point.

Parking: Plenty of parking around the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: McDonalds is always kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance is handicap accessible.“

“Overall this was a very enjoyable place to grab food and a large variety beer. I will say if you want a huge variety of beer from across the country, this place is a must visit! A range all all styles are represented on their tap menu. They also have space for private parties and very attentive staff that are quick to help with any questions.

I didn't really care for the fully wrapped glasses, takes away from my beer experience by looking at the beer appearance, but that just a personal preference. During my visit they only had 3 of their beers on tap which was a little disappointing, probably wouldn't come back just due to this.

“This was my first visit to white Castle. My husband grew up on White Castle and we couldn't resist their 10/$7.99 deal. He relived some childhood memories with me and I enjoyed the clam strips and onion petals. Not sure I have his enthusiasm regarding this establishment but it wasn't a bad experience.“

“Excellent service, delicious food, good coffee, and great space. We loved everything we had for brunch so much that we returned the next morning. Highly recommend the hangover fries, French scramble, French toast, and grits. Cool extras: you can see their humongous coffee roaster behind the dining area, there is seating outside, and they have a small art display space.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu choices, nice servers, and it’s very spacious with room to move around and places to hang out away from main dining area.“

“Are you sick of paying $15! for a hamburger?This place is for you.It’s been an institution for over 50 years. It features diner-style food with a full-bar.Food is delicious and prices are cheap. The kitchen can take awhile if they’re super busy. Won’t impress foodies, but a solid Midwest meal.My only boomer comment: the jukebox is extremely loud!“

“This is one of the nicest dairy Queens I've ever been to. And I've been to a few. The employees here are exceptionally friendly and all had smiles on their faces. We were greeted with kindness and conversation was with ease. What a great experience. The manager there, ( I believe her name is Heather ) seems to go above and beyond for her customers and the employees seem to really enjoy her presence. Exactly how it should be. Great experience!

Parking: There's plenty of parking. Sometimes there are car shows here and yet theres still plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: It's dairy Queen. Obviously it's kid-friendly. Everyone there is extremely friendly.“
