Place feels a little run down but the people are always friendly here. Food isn't the same quality as when we were younger but it's the only place for fish when you need it quick.
Food was hot and fresh. Waffle fries rule. Best service I've had in a long time. Employees were happy and friendly. If you dine in, the cashier will bring your food to your table, after you ordered. Apparently everything is made fresh on site. A must try in Calcutta Ohio.
Took the wife and kids. It was funny to see the kids react to LJ’s. Having A&W choices as well is very nice. Chicken and fish were good, and really enjoyed the fries too. It may not be the LJ’s from my childhood, but that fish, hush puppies and burgers (from A&W) were good and just as I remember. Definitely on our list of “goto’s” when going out for fast food..
