“We went midday with no one in here and it was great. The prices for the drinks are much better than what I pay at home. The bartender could have been more sociable but she was preparing for the rush hour I assume. There is plenty of seating and the heat on the outdoor patio works very well.

“Highly recommend going to Athletico Delhi for physical therapy. I worked mainly with Brandon but their entire staff is wonderful to work with. They create a friendly environment where you feel like family. Other patients and I would often commiserate and bond over tough exercises while playfully teasing the physical therapists there! While my injury is something that couldn't fully heal through PT, Brandon helped strengthen my muscles so I could maintain my level of activity and reduce pain. It does get really busy and you may be 1 of 3-4 patients being treated at the same time, but Brandon is good at checking in on you frequently and giving 1:1 time. Sarah, who works the front desk, is also delightful and is always willing to help you figure out billing questions.“

“What a great find! We were looking for a place to take a bunch of kids after a birthday Zipline adventure. Decided to try this and it was perfect! The upstairs is amazing! So big and spacious with a bar and balcony and party room with games.
I don't think they want to be known as a place for kids parties, but they were accommodating nonetheless and it was a hit with the kids.
They even had pizzas ready for us when we got there (I called about 20 minutes before we arrived).“

This is my favorite neighborhood. Hang out. Parking on the street or across the street in the Paige lot, or behind building on free parking deck.“

If you are looking for a bar that is made up of people at the ages of 40 plus then this is your bar, pairing with the fact that it is kind of a dive makes it a great choice to get a cheap drink. There is some good atmosphere in banter among the people that visit this establishment.I will say The only reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 stars is because I have been given grief for being 30 years old and visiting this bar, like come on people.“

“Very unique bar in downtown. I really liked the atmosphere and decor of the bar. The cocktails were unique but tasty which can sometimes be difficult to do.

After a quick T&C's for handling projectile axes, we were escorted to our throwing bay and instructed on proper form, safety, and game scoring. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help a couple of noobs learn the finer points of axe throwing. I was asked not one, not twice, but THREE times if there was an NFL game I was interested in, and they put my game of choice up on the mega screen. “I’m no stranger to dive bars—I've made a habit of seeking them out like some people collect vinyl. But on this particular night, I didn’t stumble into one by choice.

The car broke down on I-75, leaving me stranded with a dead phone, a finicky bank, and a AAA estimate that might as well have been a suggestion to take up knitting. Three hours for a tow? I wasn't built for that kind of existential waiting.

I did the most practical thing that a woman in a stupid dress and painful, platform shoes could do: I hiked through abandoned service roads that stretch like ghostly veins off the highway—and found myself at the New Stumble Inn.

If you’re on a quest for artisanal cocktails or a curated list of craft beers, this isn't your haven. But if you're in desperate need of a cold beer and the kind of comfort that only comes from worn bar stools and neon signs that hum like they might give up any second, well then, take that high heeled exit off the abandoned service road, my friend.

The night played out like some kind of fever dream. My phone battery was circling the drain, my bank decided that I was a top tier mafioso worthy of card freezing, and I was left with the very real possibility of being stranded in every sense of the word. The New Stumble Inn didn’t let me panic. In this dive bar, surrounded by strangers who felt like family, I was safe.

A bar patron —someone I’d never met—offered to let me CashApp her to cover my tab. The bartender threw a Post-It my way for last-minute Uber details, promising I wouldn't “just be walking home." And I did get home safe and sound.

The next time that I go to the New Stumble Inn, it will be on purpose and not via an abandoned service route.
Because it really is a shame that I discovered this place under these circumstances. Establishments like this transform patrons into a community, creating unexpected belonging. “We were seated at the bar and had great sandwiches and drinks last night (11/5/24) . Mark was the bartender who waited on us. His outstanding customer service made us feel like we had a “fine dining” experience!“
