I visited Bru Cincinnati on 5-16-24 along with a co worker. We were seated and immediately placed our order because we were on a lunch break and time was an issue. After 20 minutes we asked if our food could be boxed up for carryout. The server went back to the kitchen and the manager came out with our plates and sat them down and said, "you've only been here for 20 minutes most people get 30 minutes for lunch," very rudely! She said it in a very sarcastic nasty way and turned...read full review
I had the “ In the Beginning “ with a side of fruit. It was well cook and presented.
The last two times we have eaten there were very disappointing. Poor service each time, along with a long wait time for our food. BRU Burger Bar - Downtown Cincinnati is a classic Cincinnati place with excellent food and service. The restaurant week menu is incredible and affordable, featuring a Sriracha Caesar, pimento jalapeño burger, and delicious fudge brownie. The sriracha blackened chicken salad is fresh and yummy, while the pimento cheese smash burger with jalapenos is the best burger. Burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the carnival style onion rings are amazing. Themed drinks, a fantastic Moscow mule, and a delicious peach, white chocolate bread pudding are highlights. Servers are friendly, attentive, and make great recommendations. The ambiance is excellent. The restaurant can get very cold, so bring a coat. Reservations are recommended, especially before shows at the Aronoff, as it gets packed.
