We enjoyed the All American Breakfast - happy that breakfast was served until noon on the weekends. While the food was pricey, it was tasty, and we received great service from the gentleman who seated us, our server and the gentleman clearing the tables. Sometimes it's the people that make you want to return to a place, and that's how I felt about he 1890. Gorgeous setting too.
I couldn’t give a 4.5 so I’m giving them a 5 and here’s why - great customer service, great food, reasonable prices, spacious seating, and it’s clean! It isn’t the swankiest or most upscale of hotel bars, but they make up for it in every other way. In the week I spent there, my servers Cheryl and Duane were attentive, polite and engaging. We chose this location for breakfast and while the food was very good the price point was much more in keeping with a lunch or brunch pricing spending easily $35 per person prior to tip ($10 of that was for the coffee and the Diet Coke). That being said it was good and well prepped. Definitely great service for all the staff who hustled all the time.
