“We spent some time at The Christmas Story House, Gift Shop and museum. The Rowley Inn is right on the same corner and was AMAZING! We went to get a seat oround 3:45pm and they got a table of 7 right in for us! Food, price and staff was so great! Will definitely come back!!!“

All I can say is, wow! not only did the place look great but, the service was awesome and the food was really good. Karen, the women working the bar was an absolute sweetheart. She was very warm and welcoming. Karen whipped us up some really tasty holiday drinks. We highly recommend the Tipsy Santa.“

“Stopped in for the Saturday steak special was not disappointed. The steaks were delicious sides are huge you could swap the baked potato for anything, you get a side salad too, we also had cheese curds. Service was good. It was packed the bar is a bit tight but worth the wait.“

“(Last visited September 20, 2023.) Hanging out in Cleveland, OH on business and it's #WingWednesday! So I did some searching on Yelp to see who's got the best in the area! A place called Characters Bar & Grill kept coming up. So here's how things went!\n\nAtmosphere/Appearance: This place is like... at the EDGE of Cleveland's city limits. Lol. Brookpark Road or something. Once I pulled up it just felt like a nice, neighborhood spot! It does have a private parking lot, big outdoor section (where we sat) and plenty of space on the inside. It's a traditional setup. TVs everywhere, random swag and decor all throughout, plenty of high-top tables for seating and a big bar rail. The energy was lively and the music was so random. Lol. If you've been, you know what I mean.\n\nService: I can't remember the name of who took care of us, but she was funny, sweet and just made sure we had everything that we needed. \n\nFood: While here I was able to try a few wings, so let's begin. First up were the Mike's Sweet Island Heat. For the record, if you order 10 wings, you can split them into 2-5s for an extra $1.00 if you want separate flavors. Also, on the menu there are 3 "types" of sauces that they offer. The first kind are Buffalo based sauces, the 2nd are barbecue based sauces and the last is "other". Lol. Anyway, these looked amazing, were super saucy and were a decent, seemingly normal size. I got lots of good fruity notes and aromatics as I put the wing to my nose. After tasting the flavors carried through with a bold, fruity, rich flavor. There was good spice and it felt like a chipotle based spice. It was a unique flavor for sure that I hadn't tasted before. Next up was Lenny's Honey Sriracha Teriyaki which is a mouthful of a name, but the flavors showed up! It was a good teriyaki base with citrusy lemon flavors that actually made my lips pucker just a bit. These weren't spicy at all, but it was missing something, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Next up was Chipotle which I was lead to believe would be the hottest sauce on the menu based on it's placement on the menu, but I was wrong. This one did have some GOOD heat to it. The ingredients were balanced very well that created very bold, rich, hearty, chipotle flavors. I really liked this one. Next up were the Mild Buffalo. These were super saucy, juicy and had a very straightforward traditional Buffalo flavor that had some excellent flavor. The bleu cheese to go with these was a creamy, mild sauce that would cool your mouth down if you can't handle the spice. Next up was the XXX Buffalo which is actually the hottest sauce on the menu. The sauce was a bit watery which is a dead giveaway that it wouldn't be as spicy as it claims to be. It was still delicious, but the spice took a while to kick in, but it's nothing to write home about. It was like a kicked up Buffalo.\n\nValue: It's a sports bar, so the food won't be terrible expensive. I was there on Wednesday and wings were $1.00 each. Not bad at all considering how expensive I've see some. They even had $5.00 steaks this night, but I can only imagine them being a Salisbury steak or something. Lol.\n\nIn conclusion, I had a blast here. The food was great, the people are awesome, I felt welcomed and it just felt like a good place to hang out! I look forward to returning and trying some more flavors!“

“Great drinks, attentive bar service, delicious burger (per my hubby), and fresh, hand-cut fries (not greasy and perfectly cooked). The cajun wings were crispy and well seasoned (not spicy at all), but had too much fat on them. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. The fries were my favorite.“

“Visited Gen's 176 for the first time this evening. It may not look like much from the outside but the place is clean and the food is really good. They have a nice size menu with a variety of choices. The pierogi are large and filled with potato and cheese (they also have other varieties). My companion had a mushroom burger. It was a 1/2 pound with lots of toppings and the tots that came with were hot and tasty. I had a veggie quesadilla full of cheese, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes (I passed on the black olives). Service was excellent! In all, it was a great, affordable meal. We will be back!“

“I have never not had a great experience here! The best burger around, hands down and their fresh-cut fries are to die for! Today, I had my husband pick me up their classic burger with provolone cheese and it was still just as super warm when he brought it to me at work as if I were to have eaten it there! The staff is always super friendly and pleasant whether dining in or placing an order over the phone! HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“We love Spotted Dog food. Always had great service. Tonight the ball was dropped. Took 20 mins to be acknowledge to get a drink(maybe 8 at the bar). Never mind the big sigh and eye roll as we sat down AND still wasn't told Hi. 1 hour for food. okay Its a Friday night we understand. Our fries were soggy a cold. chicken tenders cold. wings cold. It def was sitting up there waiting a while to be brought out. We said something she said it was our fault for going outside for 5 mins. We know the difference between food sitting for awhile before being served. Extremely disappointed. We will be back but maybe when someone else is working.“

“Every time we go to the B and G we feel like family. The food is unbelievable, atmosphere relaxed, and drinks affordable. We love the B and G so much we came here after our wedding, for the after party and always try to take friends from out of town. There’s something special about this place, it feels like the true heart of Cleveland. My favorite bar in the city.“

Had to try the mardi gra ones because I never heard of them; they actual mardi gra seasoning whatever it was is great, but way too much salt! definitely will be back though.“

“Becky's has a casual corner bar vibe. We went at dinner time where ordering was from the bar, not a hassle at all. The staff were welcoming and professional, and easily available. We ordered Cobb salads, which were enormous, fresh and tasty. The onion rings were super crispy. Our gin and tonics were plenty strong enough. The restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend!“
