After 8 years of living in this neighborhood I finally decided to check out this bar. I was not mentally in a good place to go home after work and be alone. I decided to stop in here and have a drink. Being a female I am not very comfortable going into bars alone. I like this place! The bartender (red hair) is very nice. Their BLT was delicious and just $5. I got a drink (pineapple upside down). They play good music here. Good vibes all around. There’s a bar area and then a connecting room that is more quiet. I’ll have to come back to check out the events (trivia, paint night, etc.)

I grew up on Thrush Ave and my parents took us there on Friday nights for fish fry. That was back in the 50s when the Hienrich family owned it. Looks a lot different now. Kudos to whomever renovated the building!?
