Used Cafe 56/ 56 Kitchen for our child's Mitzvah weekend, for 3 different events- Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner, and a Sunday Brunch. Jay was a breeze to work with- and totally understood and delivered on the vision with all three events. His many years of experience means that he's able to tweak your menus so they make sense, and make them the most cost efficient for you. The food was tasty, and beautifully displayed. The Walleye is phenomenal! We try to get here monthly. Everything is fresh, salads, hummus, etc. My wife really like the burgers, but the walleye is really great.

Cafe 56 offers a varied menu with fun entrees in a nice dining room with impressive art and decor. The Thai cauliflower appetizer is a standout, with a crispy texture and flavorful taste. The cheese pizza has good quality cheese and a great flavor to the sauce. The Philly sandwich is good but with some chewy pieces. The service is generally responsive, but can be improved with more attention to detail, such as replenishing the tea selection and washing the lettuce. Overall, Cafe 56 has a lot to offer, but some areas need improvement to reach its full potential.
