“One of my favorite restaurants in Ohio City. I love that they keep the menu small to me that’s a sign that everything’s good. Small menus mean fantastic food because they have time to master the skills to continue creating the meal. The bar tender was great drinks were really good and well made. Our waitlist was awesome, hostess was pleasant. You can tell they have a great working relationship.“

“Terra is the best thing to happen to Terrestrial Brewing Co! Located inside the brewery, Terra brings in a more comfortable and cool atmosphere with a simple menu, good cocktails and great food at a reasonable price. Of course their craft beer is available as well. The Pimento cheese dip is a must try, and the chicken sandwich is done right. Dog friendly patio and also in the brewery side. “We came to Barroco's on Larchmere for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. We live an hour away and regularly try new and interesting places. “Amazing find in our trip to Cleveland. My wife and I always seek out the best local, independent brewpubs on our trips, and Bookhouse is near the top of our list. The Irish Red was excellent. Atmosphere felt like I was in a common room at Hogwarts. Full of warmth, great staff, friendly people, and great vibes, the history of the building was a surprise bonus.
The fact that Bookhouse is LGBTQ friendly- and this is coming from an old cis straight guy- made it all even better. Long live love, great community, diversity, and great beer!“

We finally got around to visiting this time when we were in Ohio, and the look on his face when he tried the ice cream again was pure happiness. “Stopped by after trying the Roaming Biscuit across the street, and got to enjoy some time eat said food and sip on some nice iced drinks on a warm Sunday morning in Ohio City.

The espresso machine (a little beauty for espresso machine afficionados?) was down for repairs, but my wife and I pivoted easily to an iced coffee for her and an iced cold brew for me. Both were flavorful and strong, and the rest of the drink options were very intriguing for a future visit if we get in the area again. The interior itself has great and comfortable vibes, and you definitely get the feeling this a little gem for the area community. And the staff was friendly and talkative, so it had basically everything you'd want in a good coffee shop.“

“Found this place when I searched for best places to eat in Cleveland while we were on vacation and this one had good reviews and realistic prices so we decided to try it out and we are so glad we did! It was a warm and inviting atmosphere for being mostly a bar with extra seating. You felt like you were at home and all the staff treated you like you were family or a good friend and they looked happy to be there even though it got a bit busy when we had gotten there. Service was excellent, food was delicious, my husband got the ribs and he was in love. I tried the bbq sauce as I'm really picky about bbq sauces and it was delicious! The skull shaped cornbread was so good. I had a turkey club sandwich with the chips and the French onion dip is a must have. Great experience, we will definitely be back next time we are up in Cleveland!“

“Attended an event at Market Avenue Wine Bar.
The space was amazing - the back room was so nicely Victorian decorated (although the "little vignettes" of seating did make it a little difficult to mingle).
Once we received one drink ticket and we proceeded to the front room to the bar to select our wine - we had 4 different wines to choose from. I asked the bar tender to tell us about the 4 wines so that I could make an informed decision, and he really had no clue. He told us 3 were white, 1 red, 1 was French and the other from Spain. He didn't know anything about the sweetness or bouquet of the wine. So I just picked one - it was pretty good!
One of the owners came to the event space and told us that the bar has over 100 different wines, some served by the glass, some by the bottle only. They also have some beer and other alcohol in case you are not into wine!
Overall it was a good event and I had fun!“

“I don’t go out to bars much these days but decided to stick my head in on St. Paddy’s as I’ve driven by a bunch. Looks so low key and not at all obnoxious from the outside - no advertisements for various alcohol, just a good old Christmas Story lamp in the window. Inside, it’s a warm and friendly neighborhood pub that made me feel welcome. Full of Irish cheer on the big day, but I’m sure there is some of that year round. Prices for a pint were fair maybe even in the lower side. Some places regulars don’t really like new people coming in or are cool or suspicious towards them. Not here at all. I barely drink anymore but if I was going to have a goto neighborhood pub this would be it.“
