We had dinner at White Oaks tonight and it was absolutely delicious! I splurged on the twin lobster tails. The very generous sized tails, served with drawn butter, were perfectly cooked, fresh and wonderful. My sides of vegetables and twice baked potato were equally yummy. Dessert was a wonderful creme broulee. Service was spot on professional. One of the best meals I've had in a long time.
Great food and ambiance.
The parking lot is beat up and the outside of the building more or less matches it. The inside is pretty good though. I like the atmosphere of the inside of this restaurant. Its very rustic and reminds me of my old cottage my family used to have. This place found a use for all of the decorative plates of yesteryear by putting them on the walls high up. The view of the river is very nice.
