Has been good in the past. Not so good this time. The butter was frozen and I think my salad was close to it. All wilted, very cold and drowning in house dressing. Wife’s salad was fine. The filet was ordered butterflied and medium but was burned around the edges and dry as a bone. If you put it back together it would be pretty thin. For the price it had a lot to be desired. We easily booked reservations for two for Saturday night, even though we called Saturday at noon. We requested the Beef Wellington when booking the reservation, and there was exactly one left when we arrived so maybe they saved it for us. We were seated immediately upon arrival, at a cozy (but tight) table near the fire.The wait staff was friendly, albeit a bit inattentive. The ambience was nice, a little outdated but cozy. The gentleman who sat us was very pleasant and sat us at a table with a nice view and good for the two of us.I will say the young gentleman who refilled ourwater was on top of his game, and I believe the bartender helped us plenty as well and was nice.
