I don't usually care much for ice cream, much less finish it, but I ate every drop and would've eaten another. Handel's has been a popular stop since I was a child and even as an adult who has lived abroad, I still keep coming back!“

“We stopped in for an ice cream treat travelling home from Canton. We spent $17.05 for three of us. We were served so much ice cream! I ordered a small chocolate dipped waffle cone with the new cheesecake with Oreo cookie ice so good!! That small was heaped with ice cream. My husband enjoyed blueberry cobbler and lemon bar. He would have enjoyed a bit more blueberry flavor. The lemon was great. My son had a four scoop sampler. He choose fruit flavors. Hd especially enjoyed the pineapple upside down cake and the key lime pie. He was impressed by the whole cherries in pineapple upside down cake!! We do not get to Handel's often, but truly this was a special, great value for money, delicious visit! Thank you.“

“There are very few places in canfield where you can get a nice cold treat. Especially one that has been consistently fantastic. It's been consistently fantastic, starting when i was going here as a kid. It's been staying the same, high quality, comfort-delivering nostalgic scoop spot ever since. “Even on a stormy & cloudy night, a Dairy Queen visit will bring smiles to everyone faces. I love getting a sundaes but it is also fun to bring home some Cherry dipped Dilly bars & ice cream sandwiches for everyone else. It all disappears way too quickly. lol -We also love getting ice cream cakes for birthday parties & celebrations.

“My family and I were at Leetonia Dairy Queen tonight and it was very busy. I am an empathetic person and I could sense a lot of tension and stress amongst the employees. After we ordered and received our food, we saw a female employee storm out of the kitchen and say “I’m done!” The only two employees left working were very young and customers continued to walk through the doors. The teenage employees were stunned and upset. A couple of minutes later, the male teenage employee sheepishly stood at the cash register and said, “Our manager just walked out and we’re both underage so we have to close. We’re really sorry.” A bunch of us felt very sorry for the kids and went up and gave them extra tips. The teenage boy said, “Is it okay if I cry in front of all of you people?” We all reassured him and the female teenage employee that this was not their fault and that these things happen. They both cried and hugged each other. The boy put a handwritten closed sign on the door and began the process of locking up. One of the customers still inside with us finishing eating went over and hugged him. My 7 and 5 year old kids were watching this whole situation unfold and I was very happy with how the teenagers handled themselves in such a stressful situation and with how all of the people (even ones who were turned away after just having walked in) treated one another with love, kindness, and compassion. Not a single person responded rudely or unkindly. Everyone showed empathy. Kudos to those two teenagers. Experiences like this will serve to make you even stronger and ready to face adversity.“
