“Great dive bar, very welcoming and warm. Covered patio with a heated section! One of the gals made me an amazing margarita for only $3.50! Nice, clean bathroom. Simple, good food too.

“I’ve never had a bad time at Eight and Sand. The food is beyond impressive and it is reasonably priced. You will not catch me missing the $1 wings every Tuesday and the veggie wrap is incredible. Don’t sleep on the weekly food specials they are always a tasty little surprise! Friendly outgoing staff all around, an awesome patio, and a chill vibe inside. It’s my very favorite bar, there isn’t another like it!“

“Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“First time coming to this 2 in 1 place also Black Owned Ridiculous Eatz. Excellent service. Our waitress was Melissa G. She was very nice and pleasant. The wings was Excellent. We had Buffalo, BBQ, and Hot Garlic (that wasn’t mentioned on the menu, but our waitress told us about it ). Also had the cabbage and collard greens blend. Very good. Had some Cajun fries. They were delicious. Food came out hot. Will definitely be returning.“

“Out with the family for dinner and we basically had to settle for this place because there was no wait time. The inside is basically a dive frat bar with music blaring. We ate outside and while the atmosphere was gross, especially for kids, the food and service were pretty top tier. I wouldn't come back, but the overall experience wasn't bad.“

“Had a great dinner before the Penguins and Blue Jacket game. The staff all hustled and the food was good, but when we got back to our hotel after the game we realized we left our toddlers blanket. “I found myself in Grandview and decided to try this place - I lived around here years ago so it's probably been 15-20 years since I've eaten here. I remembered the burgers being bomb, and today I can say it still was!!!! I ordered a plain burger with cheese and fries Medium and it was thick and juicy with good flavor! As for the rest.....I walked in and sat at the bar at least 10 mins before anyone showed up. I almost walked out but wqs engaged in a phone call that distracted me. The bartender/server wasn't very nice when she arrived, not even a my bad. After ordering i never saw her again until about 20 mins AFTER I was done eating. You can also tell its dirty. Yes the bar is old but i have 0 doubt they have bugs here. It is what it is. Excellent burger though!“

“Had such a fun time with the hubby here! Fun atmosphere, the girls were so pretty and had some amazing tricks! I loved Lexi, she was sooo gorgeous & nice! I loved the dancer who asked if it was okay to touch my hubby, even tho of course I didn't care. It was very considerate! Hubby paid 10 for his entry fee but mine was free so that was a nice surprise. Would give a 5 star if they had some more drink selections! For our first all nude experience I was Definitely nervous but it was a great time ?“

“First, the service is awesome. The food is pretty cheap but surprisingly it is not frozen crap, or it doesn't taste like it anyway. It's basically normal bar food and the menu was pretty small but everything we had was good, for what it was and what you would expect at a bar. The atmosphere was laid back and friendly. We were there for karaoke night and everybody had a blast. The food did take a little bit of time but we had 14 people and a bunch of appetizers and there was a full bar with one bartender and one guy I think who was the cook and helping serve at the bar. All of the patrons inside were friendly and chill, no trouble makers, no belligerent drunks. Most sang or watched the game on one of their many TVs. There is a pool table also, but just one.

Overall it is a really nice little place with a corner bar kind of feel to it. They have things to do like trivia on Mondays and karaoke on saturday. The food is not Gourmet but it's good for a bar and the price is good. And it's the best service I've had anywhere in a long time, with a staff who seem like genuinely nice people, not just getting paid to be polite“

“Was there for bike week 2023. Had best time of my life that week and spent every nite at Spankys!! Food was good had no dis respect whatsoever! I had a time I won’t forget!! I actually partied pretty hard and got home safe every nite and actually moving there from Ky and will definitely visit again!! Bartenders was great! As well“

“Staff is kind (above&beyond), food tastes great, and a place where you can have a birthday section or just a drink at the bar to watch the game. If you get a section, you can order bottles & food from the menu. My cons would be: Regular drinks will have to be ordered at the bar. Clearing drinks or food in our section wasn't available. I didn't mind clearing, but there wasn't a place to take our plates. There's a trash can by the exit for cups. If you do plan to get a section, make sure to have enough room for your party comfortably. If you dont have enough seating, there may be open seating at the bar for your overflow guest. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go again.“

“Stop by often on Tuesdays to take advantage of happy hour and their cheeseburger special. We’re always greeted by the bartender, Sam. Super friendly guy who gets to know you as a regular and is great with the service. Even on Columbus Crew game days when they are really busy, he can always find a good word as he hustles front and back around the bar.

Great pub food and awesome beer selection!! They are hidden right behind the North Market, and I think many on N High Street miss the opportunity to stop by. Fantastic happy hour prices and terrific crew.“
