“We embarked on a Tuesday adventure because I prefer to avoid crowded places because I am immunodeficient. I had known about India Oak for a long time, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to explore more neighborhood spots. I love dive and neighborhood eateries, and this one was just right.

We enjoyed a fantastic Italian sub sandwich and a meatball sub with just the right amount of tomato sauce. One of the highlights was the freshly baked Italian bread they take pride in using. The in-house-made chili was also excellent, served in a savory, meaty tomato sauce rich with just the right amount of large red kidney beans. You can also add onion and cheese on top if you like.

The kitchen at India Oak is small, accommodating only one or two people at a time. However, this limitation doesn't stop them from serving fresh, made-to-order dishes such as burgers, grilled cheese, and soups. Since there is no deep fryer, nothing on the menu is fried, and no French fries are available.“

“Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“Out with the family for dinner and we basically had to settle for this place because there was no wait time. The inside is basically a dive frat bar with music blaring. We ate outside and while the atmosphere was gross, especially for kids, the food and service were pretty top tier. I wouldn't come back, but the overall experience wasn't bad.“

“I’ve never had a bad time at Eight and Sand. The food is beyond impressive and it is reasonably priced. You will not catch me missing the $1 wings every Tuesday and the veggie wrap is incredible. Don’t sleep on the weekly food specials they are always a tasty little surprise! Friendly outgoing staff all around, an awesome patio, and a chill vibe inside. It’s my very favorite bar, there isn’t another like it!“

“My husband and I stopped in on our way through Columbus Ohio, and we were thoroughly impressed with our meals! The food was delicious!! They had an atmosphere much like Condado tacos, but the bar was set much higher with Local Cantina- when comparing the two, the tacos were so much more unique and definitely more flavorful, the dips blew competitors out of the water, and the atmosphere was so much more authentic and unique! We loved our experience and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.“

“Food isn’t always consistent, we live close and stop by often. Yesterday bartender seemed new and talked a lot while trying to make an order but usually good consistent service. But the food was GREAT last night better than normally, ordered a steak it was made medium rare perfectly usually they just make it well done no matter what. Great cook also D is a great bartender“

“First time coming to this 2 in 1 place also Black Owned Ridiculous Eatz. Excellent service. Our waitress was Melissa G. She was very nice and pleasant. The wings was Excellent. We had Buffalo, BBQ, and Hot Garlic (that wasn’t mentioned on the menu, but our waitress told us about it ). Also had the cabbage and collard greens blend. Very good. Had some Cajun fries. They were delicious. Food came out hot. Will definitely be returning.“

“Hydeout Kitchen & Bar offers a welcoming and modern ambiance that complements its simple yet satisfying menu. I ordered the Smash Burger with Hydeout Fries, which came perfectly cooked to my specifications—no pickles, onions, or tomatoes. The burger was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of crisp lettuce, all housed in a soft, fresh bun. The fries were a standout, boasting a golden, crispy exterior with a fluffy inside, served with a side of savory dipping sauce.

The place itself has a sleek, contemporary feel, lit by soft, inviting lights, making it an ideal spot for a casual dinner or drinks with friends. Although I didn’t explore the entire menu, what I experienced was enough to make me want to return.

“A friend and I stopped here for dinner before Impact Wrestling's TV tapings. They were able to find us a seat despite a festival of some kind going on, our food was ready very quickly, and it was both delicious and fairly priced!“

“First, the service is awesome. The food is pretty cheap but surprisingly it is not frozen crap, or it doesn't taste like it anyway. It's basically normal bar food and the menu was pretty small but everything we had was good, for what it was and what you would expect at a bar. The atmosphere was laid back and friendly. We were there for karaoke night and everybody had a blast. The food did take a little bit of time but we had 14 people and a bunch of appetizers and there was a full bar with one bartender and one guy I think who was the cook and helping serve at the bar. All of the patrons inside were friendly and chill, no trouble makers, no belligerent drunks. Most sang or watched the game on one of their many TVs. There is a pool table also, but just one.

Overall it is a really nice little place with a corner bar kind of feel to it. They have things to do like trivia on Mondays and karaoke on saturday. The food is not Gourmet but it's good for a bar and the price is good. And it's the best service I've had anywhere in a long time, with a staff who seem like genuinely nice people, not just getting paid to be polite“

Most would call me the Gordon Ramsay of food reviews due to my brutal honesty. People who say bad luck isn’t real have never met me before. From getting my cornea torn, getting laced with laxatives, getting bit by a raccoon, and experiencing much more, my food reviewing journey has been devastating.PJ’s hit the nail on the head with the richness I seek when reviewing food. The atmosphere at PJ's is simply perfect. Leaving this place with explosive diarrhea, but satisfied taste buds met my expectations. Anyone who claims this place is overrated is probably on a strict nut diet and can’t appreciate food that holds true meaning.“

“Staff is kind (above&beyond), food tastes great, and a place where you can have a birthday section or just a drink at the bar to watch the game. If you get a section, you can order bottles & food from the menu. My cons would be: Regular drinks will have to be ordered at the bar. Clearing drinks or food in our section wasn't available. I didn't mind clearing, but there wasn't a place to take our plates. There's a trash can by the exit for cups. If you do plan to get a section, make sure to have enough room for your party comfortably. If you dont have enough seating, there may be open seating at the bar for your overflow guest. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go again.“

“Rehab Tavern in Columbus is just an awesome spot to kick back and have a good time. The vibe hits right as soon as you walk in – it’s cozy, chill, and has this cool mix of old-school charm with a modern feel. “Place was clean and good decor. Two pool tables. Had the J*** Cuban. Enjoyed the sandwich but could taste grease in fries. No Keno but they are in the process of obtaining the rights. A person doesn't live on alcohol alone. Friendly bartender and attentive to the point i had to say "I'm good". Lol. Keep in mind this was a Monday evening. Wasn't very busy.“

“The server we had was incredible. His name was Jason and he made our experience at the restaurant/bar very enjoyable. The place was pretty busy and he was only server behind bar as well as waiting tables and running food to customers. He was so pleasant and genuine and didn't appear to be frazzled or stressed at all about being pulled in many different directions.
The food was also very good. The burgers to salads and dessert were excellent.

I also spoke with a supervisor on the phone by the name of Megan who was lovely.
It is refreshing to encounter people who are so kind actually care.

“Was there for bike week 2023. Had best time of my life that week and spent every nite at Spankys!! Food was good had no dis respect whatsoever! I had a time I won’t forget!! I actually partied pretty hard and got home safe every nite and actually moving there from Ky and will definitely visit again!! Bartenders was great! As well“

Went in on a Thursday for their Long Island deals also mind you , Thursday are their “ college nights “ and the bartender with black hair and glasses did an awesome job while getting her butt kicked !!
