“Creole and Cajun food fanatic here. I spend a LOT of time in New Orleans and Montréal (a great Creole food city as well.) The gumbo was as good as I've had in a long time- the secret is getting that smoke in there and you did it. My girlfriend had the vegan chili-phenomenal. Nice people and location. Can't wait to return!“

“The shrimp and grits are the bomb, prices are reasonable, a big variety of choices in food. So far two thumbs up. I will try the sampler plate next time..4 items for 12$ sounds like a great deal to me!!!“

“We come to this location every month for a professionals luncheon in their event space upstairs. The team takes such amazing care of us. James is extremely accommodating and always communicates back quickly. Stew always checks in after our lunches to make sure the service was good. Giovanni takes such good care of us, always patient and kind, always in a good mood. He makes it such a good experience for us. The food is always hot and fresh, and it is always good. Highly recommend for just casual dining or if you have an event. You won’t be disappointed!“

“We were in town for a Buckeyes game. Our AirBnb was about two blocks away so this was so convenient. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in, we knew we’d love it. The owner greeted us at the door and welcomed us. We had the pizza which was great! The pretzels were also amazing!!! Would definitely recommend!“

“I heard about Mac's a while back and today I finally made a point of dining there mid-afternoon. I judge it to be a place where you can have a cold drink, a good meal, and visit with your friends. Low-volume music is playing in the background but not enough to interfere with normal volume conversation. Very friendly and efficient servers. They kinda keep their eyes on you during your visit so all you have to do is to raise your hand and one of them will be with you in a moment. The food is very good with decent-sized servings at reasonable prices. At the moment, I plan on going there for some "Me Time" once a month.“

“The atmosphere was good. There was a little wait time, but I don't mind if I'm brought out good food, which I was. It was very good. However, the portion size was less than what I expected, as it was skimpy and I was barely satisfied with the portion, so therefore it was a little lacking in value. The service was just average from our waitress. There was no checking up on us, offering to top our water glasses, or asking how's our food.. The quality of the food prepared is what got the stars, just please give a proper serving. I know some people are thinking, yeah Americans want giant sizes. Lol I assure you this is not the case. The meat portion I could of picked up with the tip of my fingers. The meal might look okay on a 8 inch plate. JS“

We had to wait for silverware, had to wait for our dessert and then top it off, stood their at the cash register for 10 minutes to pay our bill . We decided after today, we’re no longer going to be eating there. I would have never treated my customers they way we was treated“

Best experience at a restaurant in a long while. (We had been eating at the Bob Evans on Bethel Rd, and have had bad experiences. Bathrooms always dirty, food disappointing...) “We ate dinner here four nights in a row because the location was a short walk from our hotel, and the food was pretty decent. We tried something different each night and everything was good. Service was prompt and friendly. Portions and quality were good for the price. Will definately be back next time we are in Columbus.“
