Our first time there, the pasta bolognese was probably the best pasta I've had in my entire life and I am a pasta lover. Just incredible. Service was great, and personal without being overbearing. Had a fabulous chocolate martini also, possibly the smoothest one I've ever had and it's what I always order when we go out. Our waiter was also the bartender. She did the best she could and the manager helped out with the three tables that were being shared with the bar. Service was pretty good considering it was Mardi Gras. The food was just okay. The corn chowder was very disappointing. It was watery and had no seasoning. The lace salad was tasty. The chicken piccata was very good. Service was sort of slow but not terrible. It was sort of strange that we had a 4 o’clock reservation for 10 and immediately upon seating, the waitress said we had a two hour time limit as they had a lot of reservations for 6 o’clock. When we left at five till six, there were two tables with people. Not sure what was going on there.
