Hiding in plain sight at northeast corner of Cassady Ave. & Agler road Pizanno's pizza and Stromboli is a great find for a relatively non descript area. Service and prices are quite acceptable and the food rises well above the overall surroundings. I make Pizanno's a weekly stop for great taste pricing and consistency.
The food is absolutely amazing. The ingredients for the pizzas are some of the best I’ve had and it’s hard to beat a NYC pizza. Especially after living in NYC for 4 years. Finding a good slice was a challenge, but this place nailed it. The dough is amazing, the cheese has so much flavor and the sauce is just right.

For our first time we ordered a Classic Large Pepperoni Pizza and an Italian Sub. Pizza was cooked perfectly, it's a thin NY Style type of pizza. With a small crust which tasted great. Italian sub had quite a bit of lettuce but was overall an ok sub. I like the way this sub was put together meat wise, but I do think it's missing something. A little bit toastier or even a seasoned or buttered bun. Regardless we were satisfied with pricing and quality. We will be back to try more...read full review
