My family goes every time we are in Ohio , best pizza ever, and it has been for the past 30 years I know of , they use to have some competition with Johnny’s but they are long gone, and for anyone that thinks the place in Grayson Ky name Johnnys is the same, it’s not even close to the same pizza at all ,
Planks is number one and yea I’m a chubby country boy, and I know what’s up when it comes to delicious food

So I just walked in there to pick up a pizza and people kept saying hello. It kind of shocked me, tbh! It was the staff and they were so friendly and welcoming! That's something you rarely see anymore and it was so nice to experience again. A few people I interacted with made small talk too, which is even more of a rarity in this modern world. I'm old school and it was very much appreciated.

The pizza has a sweetness to it that goes great with their pepperoni.
Also the wait staff are always super nice.

Memorabilia from pictures, newspaper, and magazine articles are framed on the wall, and the man behind the bar looked like a person pictured on the wall, who was the grandson of Mr. Plank, a WW2 vet who opened the place in 1939. While some have noted that the pizza crust has been getting thinner over the years, and the toppings can be sparse unless one orders pepperoni, the pizzas were out of this world for some. Plank's remains a staple for those who love a good flat bread pizza or thin crust.
