Tee Jaye's is a restaurant that serves delicious food, including corned beef hash and creamed beef. The atmosphere is unique, with a clean dining area and a historic building that was once a firehouse. The service is polite, timely, and helpful, with friendly waiters. Prices are moderate, and the food is fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection.
The restaurant has recently undergone a remodel, updating the interior with a farmhouse vibe and adding a cocktail menu. Customers praise the updated atmosphere, with one reviewer calling it a "GENIUS" decision. The cornmeal pancakes remain a favorite, and the service is consistently excellent, with diners knowing what to expect and looking forward to their visits.
While the seating may not be the most cozy, with hard seats and a chilly feeling near the windows, the hot coffee helps. The food is described as "fine," and the service is great. Tee Jaye's is also wheelchair-friendly and kid-friendly, with a dedicated menu for children.
