“Very enjoyable restaurant. It reminded me of an old time restaurant from back in the 70’s / 80’s. No annoying decor or advertising signage. Just a relaxed atmosphere.
The staff very friendly and welcoming.
Food was great. Their pizza is not greasy or overly salted. My wife and I almost finished a large pizza with extra cheese without feeling disgusting. Would definitely go back.“

“Campus Pollyeyes is hands down one of my favorite spots in Bowling Green! The food is always incredible—fresh, flavorful, and made just right every time. Their stuffed breadsticks are on another level!
The service is amazing too—everyone is super friendly, quick, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. On top of all that, the prices are totally fair for the quality and portions you get.
Whether you’re a student or just passing through, this place is a must-try. Can’t recommend it enough!“

“The food was really good but was quite disappointed that our server was not wearing a mask. So it makes me wonder who cooked my my food. Won'tbe going back.“
“I work for a trucking company based from down the road so I stop here alot. Most of the time service is pretty good. Enough to give them 5 stars even the rare times service has been subpar. Review: Papa John's
The visit was a mixed bag, but overall, the pizza and the experience held up!
🔎 The Situation:
A dear friend from afar surprised me with a pizza as a thoughtful gesture during a tough time. However, I couldn’t make it to the store within the allotted pickup window. I completely understand that this policy ensures only fresh, delicious food for customers, though I do hope the unused pie was donated or eaten instead of wasted.
💡 The In-Store Experience:
When I arrived, the proprietor—who I believe owns the shop—was curt and seemed unaware of my order. Thankfully, the manager I had spoken to earlier stepped in to clarify and saved the day. She quickly informed me my fresh pizza was about to go in the oven. Big points to the manager for professionalism and attention to detail!
🍕 The Product:
Papa John's remains a standout in the pizza world. The dough, with its perfect balance of fluffiness and chew, and the subtly sweet tomato sauce never fail to hit the spot. And let’s be real—any competitor that doesn’t include garlic butter and a pepperoncini in the box is just playing catch-up.
🏡 Delivery Thoughts:
Though Papa John’s doesn’t deliver to my area, which is far from rural, this lack of service keeps it a special treat. Still, corporate, you’re leaving money on the table—there’s a white-collar hub in Jackson waiting for those delivery zones to expand!
👍 Verdict:
The food and the female manager’s professionalism won me over. No notes other than this: keep being consistent and delicious. I’ll gladly patronize again, even if I have to pick up in person.

“Small place, busy employee but still took the time to help out my family and I. We got 3 calzones one cheese very good, pep bacon also very good. Dough for my veggie calzone or cheese- idk somehow mixed weird and gave it a strange texture, this one maybe needs a longer cook time. Or to be cooked open face somehow then closed, not sure what happened ingredients were fresh just mixed weird, nobodies fault, big enough that I ate half of my husbands and was satisfied.“

“I had heard good things about the buffet but after seeing it we decided it wasn't worth it and very small. Only about 4 pizza choices, bread sticks, 2 soup choices and traditional salad bar. We decided to order from the menu which was a mistake I guess as well because they proceeded to get our pizza incorrect after 2 attempts and we had to ask for the meatballs that were supposed to be on my daughter's spaghetti and meatballs multiple times. Finally they just let our nephew eat off the buffet because we had already waited for a second pizza that still wasn't right and we did finally get the worlds smallest meatballs for my daughter. The pizza that we did eat was good but the whole experience left us not wanting to go back.“

“Came here because my friend wanted a gluten free pizza on our way home from up north. The pizza I got was good. Cooked all the way though and had a nice amount of toppings on it. Got the pizzas on the app on a deal. Couldn’t beat the price. Not a bad place to carry out.“

“what was a bad experience a while back turned out to be a good one 2nd time around, the all veggie big box was delicious . The manager Justin personally made this order and the G.M. Justin was extremely apologetic for our bad experience. Dinner was delicious and thank you too all. Corporate needs to know that these guys are strictly business when it comes to customer care ! photo in comments.“
