“Like many sushi places, prices have gone up and the slices are slightly thinner than in the past. Not noticeable here unless you eat a lot of sushi. The waitress offered me an additional hand roll for only $1.50. Good price, and delicious but heavier on the rice portion than I'm used to. The Miso soup and the salad were excellent, as was the hot tea. Service was very attentive and discreet. I could slightly nod and get the waitress to come over. There is also a hot napkin that is now individually wrapped and disposable. A nod to COVID, I imagine, while preserving the tradition. I had a very pleasant lunch and highly recommend it for lunch or dinner. Very quiet and relaxing.“
“I seriously crave the teriyaki chicken from this particular mall food court. It is fast, it's clean, the people are always friendly, and the portions are generous. I think you get a lot of value for what you pay for. I am always glad I came here. You do not want to miss this place!“
“The food was terrific once we were able to get seated. We were supposed to have reservations. The tables were full instead. Make sure you go in plenty of time. They did get us all in and made it right. But it was extremely frustrating to almost be late and not be able to enjoy or dinner to the fullest.“
“I ordered pickup through DoorDash and was already out and about so just went straight there which would put me close-ish to pickup time, but on the early side.My order wasn't ready when I got there because they didn't receive it from the DoorDash system until I was standing there in the store. They were so unnecessarily apologetic and kind! They said they were sorry they didn't receive it and would be ready asap. They were SO fast getting me my chicken lo mein and General Tso tofu. They also threw in some veggie fried rice & even came out to my car to tell me it was ready!10 out of 10 service and just thankful for their generosity. New go-to spot just for that and the food is so good too!“
“Good portions and pretty tasty except that the rice was overseasoned with vinegar and very overwhelming. I assume this was just a mistake as I've /never/ had sushi where I could taste the vinegar like that. Hopefully it won't be so bad if I decide to give it another chance.“
“For sure one of the better buffets we've visited, especially in the area! Fairly inexpensive, with LOTS of varieties and the best part of all IT WAS SO CLEAN! They had people constantly taking care of the buffet, food didn't look like it had been sitting all day. Fruit and salad bar looked nice and fresh!! The hibachi bar was WONDERFUL! The guys cooking the day we went made sure we enjoyed our plates. Definitely a good place to visit, and highly recommended ....the only downfall was trying to get our server to fill our drinks. I think it would really benefit them to have a self service drink station, however if you take your cups up to the front they will get it filled for you!!“
“Always delicious!!! Great for keto and paleo diets! Food gives me so much energy after I eat. And I feel so much better after eating there. My excitement to eat the food outweighs my desire to take pictures of it. I'll try to add pictures next time I eat there, lol.“
“Although the food was very tasty and we enjoyed it, the floor show that we received was lackluster compared to others around us. Our chef did not do anything engaging such as tricks with the food or asking if someone wanted to have some food catapulted into the air so that they could catch it with their open mouths. I was disappointed because I've been to this establishment before and thoroughly enjoyed that part of it. I know that you go for the food but the antics with the chef also keep you interested. However, we will return.“
“The food was fresh, super flavorful, and fairly priced! The staff was friendly and there’s a cute little nook to eat in by the windows if you choose to dine in. Definitely a great spot for quick hibachi, and better than some of the other fancy hibachi places in town.“
“My daughter loves this location since there’s a buffet option so we went for her tenth birthday. Hibachi tasted better for dinner than when I went for lunch one week prior. Hibachi also arrived within thirty minutes of selecting add-ons and perusing the buffet. Service was amazing for our party size, we rarely ran out of drinks and they weren’t overly pushy/rushing us to finish so we were able to enjoy our dinner options in peace. Their birthday board was a cute touch as well and they gave us time to take pictures and videos.Only “complaint” I had was pricing wise and it’s not a huge one. 6 and younger are considered for kid pricing so $170 for myself, sister, and three kids between 7 & 13 was a bit much. This does include auto-grat since we had a large dinner party for anyone considering a party of 8+ but it wasn’t a deal breaker and honestly appreciated so I didn’t have calculate the difference myself. Just wish there was a a bit of a discount for the older kids, too.“
“I ate here with a party of four. We all got different things and everyone was happy with their food. I had the Ramen bowl with pork. It was served with an oil on the side that added a lot of heat and flavor. I would definitely come back to try more entrees.“
“Had a great experience dining here. Aside from the amazing food, the customer service was top notch. They were short staffed tonight, and the lone employee serving the floor did a great job of making sure everyone was taken care of. I can't wait to come back to this place and would highly recommend it!“
“Looking for Korean food in Dayton, this checked off a number of boxes I was looking for. The bulgogi is amazing and the side items went very well with the entree. Also highly recommend the bulgogi dumplings. Will definitely come back next time I find myself in “
“Kabuki is a lovely place to go for a really good roll of sushi. The staff is excellent here.We got gyoza (fried vegetable dumplings) and ebi shumai (steamed shrimp dumplings) to start. The ebi shumai was absolutely amazing, and served with a very fresh, lemony sauce. The menu is very descriptive and there are many specialty rolls to choose from. This time I tried the Volcano Roll and it was very good. I also tried the Ninja Roll and I enjoyed it quite a bit!Prices are pretty standard as far as local sushi/Korean fare goes. Parking is very accessible here as well, as it's connected to a larger shopping plaza.“
“Service was outstanding and the place was clean and nice. Came for lunch on a Wednesday and paid $21.99 not counting drink and tip.Hibachi was good--above average, but I've been to better places.Sushi was good, and the variety of it was ok. I thought the taste of the sushi wasn't as good as it could have been. I've had better sushi at supermarkets where they prepare it on site.I didn't like how all the other dishes (which was a very wide variety) were all on small plates or wire baskets with typically only one item (for example, one crab rangoon). So if you want several of one item, you are grabbing multiple plates or baskets. Even for the Genersl Tso's Chicken, each small plate only had three small pieces of chicken on it. Would have preferred to have it in a bowl, where I could have scooped up what I wanted. Quality of the small plates that I tried ranged from good to very good.Wide variety of desserts--far more than your typical Asian buffet--but I saw only two that interested me. Both were good. Also saw that you could get a cup of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry). This was not soft serve, but kept in a freezer. Had various ice cream bars available too.“
“We stopped here after a basketball game. Everything was very good. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because my chicken was chewy and didn’t have a whole lot of flavor there. But the sushi was very good.the plates were presented nicely too.“
“First time trying Tokyo Sushi and they get an A++!! Absolutely delicious sushi!! Loved everything about this place. The staff was awesome! All of the food items were wonderful, fresh and everything you hope for when you want really good flavorful sushi. Thank u TS&G!!❤️ We will be back when we take our nxt road trip. If we lived closer we would be weekly regulars!!“
“Best take out I’ve had since moving from the East Coast to Minnesota ,hands down . I had the build your own poke bowl ,the lobster Rangoon and the custard buns. Not only was the Poké bowl massive for the price ,It was extremely fresh and put together beautifully. The lobster Rangoon was delicious with no off “fishy” flavor , very sweet and Savory and the custard buns were an amazing dessert, light …fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I’ll be eating the leftovers for a couple days because the portions are pleasantly large and I’m definitely looking forward to having them for lunch tomorrow !“
“Staff is wonderful. Go there so much that most of them know my order immediately and get me rung up the second they see. Asks about my family and smiles when they see me. Food is made fast, with big portions and great food. Go here to eat every time I’m at the mall!“
“I went here for the first time on Friday 02/16/24, I actually never had hibachi before. I had the hibachi chicken with fried rice, I also had some grilled vegetables, soup and salad. Honestly, I did not like the salad but everything else was very good! I decided to be adventerous and mixed the Yum Yum sauce with the Ginger sauce. I enjoyed it but to be honest it also would taste good with no sauce at all. I enjoyed watching the chef prepare the food and the little onion "volcano" was neat. The person I was with wanted me to go there because it was considered an experience everyone should have at least once and I agree. The atmosphere was clean and Megan was pleasant. I did not get our chef's name but he was friendly and professional. I will return when I can.“
“Was specifically looking for what seemed to be a family-run establishment. After doing 8 years in Japan and being back for a year, I missed authentic food! This place is quiet, attentive, and has a nice, varied menu of Korean and Japanese foods. Will definitely be coming again! :)“
