“I went here twice now. The first time we got beef and rice stuffed grape leaves and lamb shish kebab sandwiches, one was chicken. The lamb was super flavorful, tender, smoky, grilled. We ate in for dinner the first time. The atmosphere was great! The staff were pleasant and helpful as well! They had an area for gatherings that had karaoke haha!Today, we went again and I brought my dad with us. We all got the lamb shish kebab sandwiches along with tabouli, stuffed grape leaves, and hummus which came with bread. Again, the lamb was perfect and all the sauces and veggies in the sandwiches were so flavorful and refreshing! The tabouli was also very healthy feeling and refreshing! Their hummus was excellent and we got some to go for my mom to try! Delicious. The grape leaves were served hot and flavorful as well which was perfect. For dessert, I got knafeh which was the best I’ve had in awhile! This was an excellent experience twice now! Thanks for reading!“
“Found this place after spending the day hiking at Aullwood Audubon and it hit the spot. Everything was soooo good! From the iced tea that I didn't even need to sweeten, to the pita and oil dip the bring as an appetizer, to the gyro and sweet potato fries to this amazing baklava! 10 out of 10 would recommend! The service was great and at no point did we ever feel rushed.“
“We really liked the food here, I had the spicy chicken, and the wife had lamb and shrimp, both came with sautéed vegetables and rice but the flavors of everything was just so good and the service was really good as well, we are going to bring our mothers here for Mother’s “
“This was my first visit here. First of all the young lady who waited on me should be the poster girl for what proper customer service should be. She was very helpful in assisting me with making my selections, and just very courteous overall. The food was excellent and the facility itself very, very clean. Definitely will not be my last time here.“
“Placed online order for pickup. When picking up meals advised cashier that I had placed an online orderShe was confused on where the order was. When she finally found it she came to counter with meals scratching her arm pit. Nasty.......“
“Had the Baklava Cheesecake. Door Dashed it. The. Baklava Cheesecake was good, had a good sweetness to it. Reminds me of german chocolate cake in cheesecake form. This was my first time having Baklava Cheesecake and it didn’t disappoint. This was also my first time ordering from this restaurant. I wouldn’t mind trying other flavors of cheesecake at a later date.“
“We stopped here for dinner on a long, long, long drive north to the Detroit area. I really wanted to get a small taste of local flavor instead of just eating fast food, and Olive was more or less on our way, so we hopped off the interstate to grab a bite. Now, from some of the pictures of the outside on Yelp, it looks like this is a standalone business with a private parking lot. That might have been the case at one time, but either the business moved or it has a second location that's freestanding and the pics are in the wrong spot, as that's not the case now. This Olive is very much in the downtown-ish area, carved into the ground floor of a much larger building. As such, parking may be a bit more challenging since there doesn't appear to be a private lot. That said, we had no trouble finding a spot on the street within a block or two. Parking was paid for with the Passport app, and it was reasonable. Of course, it might be harder during nicer weather -- not a lot of people out on a rainy evening! We walked in to find the restaurant fairly spacious but almost deserted -- only two other people waiting for to-go orders. Kind of odd for a Friday night, but again...weather. The decorations are kind of sparse but the place, including the bathroom, was clean. We ordered our meal at the counter and sat down to wait. Husband got a gyro and fries, and I got the Shish tawook platter, which came with grilled chicken, a salad, rice, and pita. We also got an order of the Greek potatoes to try out as an appetizer. Service was a little gruff at checkout but gave us a genuine, kind-hearted thank you as we left, so I guess they just had to warm up to us, lol.The potatoes came out first and were my favorite part of the meal! They were clearly cooked fresh. I'm honestly not sure what's Greek about them as they kinda reminded me of hash browns (the cubed, hash kind) with a little squeeze of lemon and maybe some herbs on top...but if it ain't broke, don't fix it! They were piping hot and very crispy.Husband and I enjoyed our meals, too. His gyro was very large and almost over-stuffed with gyro meat. The fries were medium-cut but tasted like McDonald's fries somehow...not complaining. My Shish tawook was very juicy and flavorful. I've had better rice and pita but these were both quite serviceable and I enjoyed a fairly healthy-feeling meal.Honestly, my true rating is maybe more in-line with a 3.5...but I don't have any super severe criticisms and we had a quite pleasant time overall, so I'll just round up to a 4.Seems like they do a lot of carryout / delivery business. I'd recommend this spot for a decently healthy, very fresh Mediterranean bite if you're in the area.“
“The workers in the restraunt area are very friendly and the food is delicious. cashier for the the market are polite and helpful everything all around is priced very affordable. Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone to at least try once“
“I signed up for Yelp just to write this review. Amazingly friendly staff. Outstanding food. We waited about 20 minutes for our meals. It could have taken 45 minutes and it would have been worth the wait! I had the Jerusalem Special with grape leaves and it was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The manager even brought us two complementary bowls of lentil soup out of the blue! He just said "here, try this." I would have never ordered it on my own and I feel like a fool because it was delicious. It is a small "hole in the wall" restaurant but is extremely clean and comfortable. My wife and I spent about $30 for two entrees and a side of grape leaves. I can't wait to go back.“
“As soon as I walked in, I saw a customer in front of me talk the same language, as what I assumed was the owner, to the owner. Good sign already. Food was really good and a lot of people started showing up during the dinner rush. Also a great sign. I dined by myself and it was really comfortable. Got more food to go and it was made quick. No complaints and would go again.“
“Oh my goodness, so many good things to say about this place! 1. They have a variety of Mediterranean foods! Gyros, salads, etc! And if you aren't feeling Mediterranean they have mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and fun appetizers! The service is amazing, they're incredibly fast, you go up to order, sit down, and within 5-10 minutes the food is here! The ambiance itself isn't bad, they have beautiful paintings hung upon the walls, and if I'm not mistaken some nice chill music! I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant! It's healthy and fast!“
“Delicious! I had the gyro with fries. Came with a fresh Greek salad and of course I had to get some dessert! The baklava was just as good as everything else. Had a pickup order, so can't say much about the service, but when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and was the only one in the restaurant, so plenty of seating availability.“
“Do not walk, RUN TO pita n more. Today was mine and my husband's first time there and we will DEFINITELY be returning. The portion sizes are huge at a great price and everything is delicious. Definitely get the greek fries and I 100% recommend the 50/50 bowl that is half lamb and half chicken over rice. I wish I could give more then 5 stars.“
