“A hidden gem on Garfield Place . We decided to throw out the Hyde park restaurants and try something new . The Mezze Board was fantastic with all of the Mediterranean dips and veggies , The Shrimp Cossoult is to die for . The braised lamb /risotta/feta explodes with every bite. The best of all is that it was our first time dining and and I felt like family with the service from Nimo and Bryce , Coming back next week for the Swordfish . 6 stars !!!!!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Mediterranean Hyde Park with Heather Raake Bates , and it was truly an exceptional culinary experience. The meal was outstanding, and the service was superb. I highly recommend visiting this establishment, as it is a hidden gem that warrants a return visit.“

“We ordered to go carry out dinner and everything was ready very quickly and to our specifications. The whipped feta dip with honey was awesome- I was able to pick baked and fresh pita. Next time I’ll do with veggies. Husband ordered the chicken rice bowl. And I had the beef plate with salad and roasted potatoes. Generous side salad portion and the beef was tender. We bought baklava but haven’t had it yet, we were so full. Will be recommending to others and we will be back to try other dishes.“

“Such a delightful place for a light meal. My mom, sister, and I enjoyed a mezze platter and hibiscus tea late afternoon. Our server was so kind and by the time we were leaving (a 'normal' time for dinner) the place was packed! My sister is a vegetarian, so it was lovely to go somewhere that she could enjoy almost everything on the menu.“

“Absolutely fabulous experience! Service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive. Each dish was balanced and so favorable - we especially loved the chickpea-spinach and artichoke tapas. The mushroom side dish offers an explosion of flavor, and the desserts were wonderfully balanced and not overly sweet. Cocktail and wine choices were great, as well. Will definitely be back!“

“The restaurant has a decent amount of parking. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. Staff was very friendly to all guests. Salmon feast is always my favorite and never disappoints. The salmon is always cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Great lunch or dinner option. Excellent alternative to fast food.“

“I was supposed to be in Greece for vacation but since I had to miss it, I really wanted some authentic Baklava. I did a Google search and found Baladi Restaurant and Bakery and was soooo happy I did.“

“I tried a new place today! I was headed next door for Biggby Coffee but decided to have lunch too.

I ordered the Gyro because I love gyro meat on the spit. With the gyro meat, taziki, lettuce and tomato this was the perfect combo for me.

I was not disappointed! Great food and fast service 😄
