The Oakwood Club is one of those old dark steakhouses that hasn't changed much in 30 years. That being said, the food is great and pretty consistent. If you love burgers, try their steak burger. My son says they are the best he has tried anywhere!
Our Steaks were cooked to perfection and full of flavor! Sides and portions were great. Service was good. The only reason I didn't rate five stars would be the lemonade was entirely too tart/sweet and the seasoning on the bread was incredibly salty. Everything else was perfect!

The best steak house in the area. The bone-in filet mignon is a great dish. I have dined here two days every year for the last 25 years. The Oakwood Club is a consistent good meal. The Walleye is a consistently good fish dish. The escargot with butter and garlic sauce appetizer is also worth trying. The drinks are reasonably priced. No problems with creating separate checks for large groups.
