“1808 is our favorite restaurant. My husband and I have been coming every Friday for a year since we moved to Deleware. We always sat at the bar, and have always had the best service. We are very sad to see the restaurant go, it feels like a friend is moving away and we said our last good bye last night. We wish the owner the best with his businesses, thank you for servicing us in Deleware.“

“Had the opportunity to finally stop in and have dinner at Old Dog Alehouse and this place was awesome. Food was great, served quickly yet cooked perfect and the service was top notch. Service is so important when running a restaurant and not only was our server amazing, but several other staff and on duty manager had stopped by our table to greet us and see if we needed anything. Im very picky about food and everything our whole table had ordered was top notch, hot and looked and tasted perfect. The beer selection was great along with the fun cozy atmosphere. Honetly couldn't find anything wrong with this place. Definately highly recommend. Great job Old Dog Alehouse. Will be back this weekend again!“

“Came to visit the brewery bar on a random Wednesday and met the owner/brewer Frank, who was a joy to discuss various microbrews with. He kindly recommended the Lindy 9.2% ABV Belgian tripel ($6) as well as his namesake Stewart Red, a 5.9% ABV red ale ($6), which I wholeheartedly savored for a red ale.

“Hands down my family’s favorite place to eat when we go out. The crust and bread is to die for and the staff can’t be beat! Moe, Syd, Des, and G make you feel like family and the vibe is always on-point. The menu is smaller, but every single item is perfection and it’s clear they don’t half-ass anything 🤙🏼“

“Drove an hour to visit a local tattoo shop, walking out the smell of the food drew us to try Joy’s… DEST DECISION EVER! The food was exactly what I look for in Chinese food! It’s hard to find a place around that reminds me of what I ate when I was younger. Needless to say, I looked at my husband 3 bites in and told him any time he wants Chinese food, we can drive the hour there. 10/10 on both food and service. The cashier was so awesome and had an amazing sense of humor! The owner was there and was absolutely wonderful!“

“We had a good time hanging out, drinking, eating, and listening to live music. We appreciate that they reserve a table when you have a group of six or more. The food portions are plentyful and the staff is friendly. I personally did not try any of the wine, but others did at our table and seemed to like it. Their wine flight is a lot of wine! I tried three of the cocktails, one with cotton candy, one called the William with gin, and an old fashioned. None of them were that great, they were just okay. I will definitely go back again, but I'll probably skip the cocktails next time. The charcuterie boards and the veggie and hummus boards are huge!“

“Had to wait a little for a table (10 minutes ), but food was worth it. Got noodles, sesame chicken and a sushi platter to share. Edame for appetizer. Could not eat it all. We were traveling, chose something we could not get at home. Did not dissapoint.“

“This is our favorite dive (and I say that lovingly) in Delaware! Love the seasonal change in menus and the staff is always friendly and accomodating! “First time visiting Asahi. Arrived shortly after 5 pm. Was casually busy, but was seated immediately. Waitress was quick in starting a drink order and getting our order in. Our Hibachi Chef was pleasant and entertaining. We all had the hibachi chicken and everyone enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere. All the staff were polite and helpful. My family and I will definitely dine here again in the future.“

“The Dragon House is recommend on several of the "best of" sites. Many of the sites write about the delicious food and the large portions for a reasonable price. What impressed us the most was the wonderful waitress. She answered our questions and carried on a conversation throughout our meal. We plan to go back to visit her as much as try sometime else on the menu.“
