We drove an hour to try this spot because we heard it was amazing, authentic, thai food and it did not disappoint. The Khao soi brought me back to Chiang Mai. Out of this world. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The owner was so kind and the hospitality was fantastic. I can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu. Khop khun kha, Thini Thai. “Was looking for a spot to stop on our way to PA. Found this along the way but it was solid. I wouldn't say it was the best food I ever had but it was good and lots of variety for my family. We went with 2 young children and were easily able to appease their pickiness.

Since it was lunch I didn't try any cocktails but they sounded delicious.

“My first time there but it was my mom and cousins 2nd or 3rd time. I was a little weary at first because it’s very small and quiet, but it had just opened for the day when we got there but once people settled in, it definitely didn’t feel like we had to whisper. We had the absolute best waitress Helen and 100% would request her if you go there! We got scallops, ribeye with blue cheese butter, and the chicken pasta and all 3 were great portions for the price and tasted absolutely delicious. Not one complaint on the food at all. The drinks were also amazing, the waiters and waitresses actually make each drink their self opposed to a bartender doing all the drinks which I think is really cool and personal! They also bring them to you so chalk full you can barely take a sip without spilling it - not a bad thing! Definitely delicious blue cheese stuffed olives for a classic dirty martini, cosmo was great and the espresso martini was also amazing. To top it off my mom got the crème brûlée and said it was also good. My mom also accidentally spilled her drink everywhere and they were so sweet about it, getting napkins to cover the huge wet spot on the table and replacing her drink with no questions asked. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.“

I barely had any lobster, most pieces of flat bread didn’t have any lobster at all. The Calamari was tender and well-seasoned but not crispy. The breading seemed as if it had been sitting for a while. The drinks were good but pricey. The service was poor. Except the Sous chef, she was excellent. But the others were a bunch of young kids who all seemed to be brand new, unorganized, and not what i would expect in a place so expensive. The marinated Ahi Tuna was excellent. All of that being said, we enjoyed our time there, but $156 later, I doubt we will go back.“

“Slow train has been a local staple offering craft coffee and espresso beverages for many years, and my family has frequented at least once a month for quite some time now. However I must say over the last 12-18 months there has been an uprising in business, which is great financially, but has led to a decline in overall employee morale and product quality. Sometimes we are met with emotional resistance from baristas who are clearly feeling overworked and overwhelmed with the business needs, and are not able to offer the modicum of effort that is needed to deliver quality customer service and beverages alike. While this is understandable, because these people deserve rest and incentive to work outside of financial stability - this needs to be addressed by the proper authority within the business. I sincerely hope that the energy and ambiance can return to what it once was: warm and friendly, with great beverages, and understanding staff.“

“I’ve been to this restaurant twice. The first time I got a burger. It was delicious. The second time I got a roast beef sandwich, which also was very good. The only problem was there was only one server for the 20 some tables that they have in the restaurant. she was hauling butt and she took the orders very good and did the best she could for all the work she had to do. I know times are hard and people don’t wanna do work like that, but they really need to get somebody in there to help her because both times I visited this restaurant we had to wait half hour to order and30 minutes to get our food because she was so busy“

But something has to be done with the drive-thru immediately!! 4 cars in line, including me, who ordered only a bowl of soup. Total time waited for that one bowl only was over 50min. That's just unacceptable folks. I completely understand that a lot of your items are made to order, and that's great. But there has to be some solutions to fixing this. They could have easily walked that soup out to me, and I'm on my way. On the same note, people are ordering very large lunch orders for the office and shops nearby as well as the college. These orders should never be in line as they take a very long time to make. And it's very easy to see these are huge orders by the number bags handed over. I'm in at least 3-4 days a week, and I've been late to meetings from just getting a soup and cookie. And if that's not bad enough when I was in Friday, the lady in front of clearly had ordered for many people and was paying for each order separately! I spent 20+ years in the full service restaurant until it burned me out horribly!! Any current or former restaurant worker understands this. I've been a Kitchen Mgr and a General Mgr most of my career, and I just want to help because this is beyond out of control. And not to sound petty, but it sure would be nice to hear once.
