“I have been coming here for 20 years, they had a great reputation for the Q and and the value. They had started to serve smaller portions in order to not raise prices during COVID, and now they have raised prices and kept the portions the same. The Q is good but not great. They tend to run dry at times. If you are planning on picking food up through the drive through for the sake of efficiency forget it. If the restaurant is busy and you wanted avoid the wait, they have one cutting station and that one person serves both the restaurant, the pickup counter that is inside and the drive through. The drive through usually gets the short straw, long waits parked in line waiting for the cutter to get to your order. They might as well not have a drive through.“

“We rented a grill from Don for our little league event and due to weather we canceled and rescheduled for the following weekend. We were rained out the following weekend too. Don drove it down to us in Hamilton Township. He was so nice, professional and his customer service level is beyond compare. We plan to use him again for more events. “Love this little food trailer bbq...Mr Ed is the nicest man..and some of the best bbq in dayton.. Big Ed is definitely A Must Check Out... I try to stop there at least twice a month. My grandson loves it too. It's a special treat for my fifteen year old grandson after school... Fyi...1 If the weather's bad snow or rain or just too cold Big Ed will not be there that day....“

“Glad we found this place! Haven’t had dressing in years! Delicious! Veggie plate was yum! Ate the food so fast didn’t get a pic but enjoyed everything. Favs was Mac and cheese, yams, and dressing. Glad sides like cabbage didn’t have meat. So thoughtful for vegetarians! Sweet potato pie was good too. Nice customer service. We saw why this is a local fav! Food was fresh and hot and was worth the wait. Only minus was they were out of black eyed peas!“
