“WOW - the food is wow and the service is wow. I'll start with the Staff as, they deserve it - Ashley was our server and she was above fantastic. Honestly, the entire staff, every single person we met that worked there was so incredibly polite - and I don't mean 'trained to be scripted to the restaurants script' polite, I mean, genuinely kind and personable. It was my first time at this restaurant and I honestly felt like I had been there a million times, that's how inviting the vibes are here. Now - on to the food. I had the herb baked chicken and merciful heavens, it was FANTASTIC (sides I sampled that I loved were the fried green tomatoes and their house potatoes). I would feel comfortable in a fancy dress or jeans & my favorite sweatshirt here - it's just, it's homey and makes you feel so welcome. If you're looking for a great dinner with friends or family - I highly recommend this lovely Cleveland restaurant. Super honorable mention to the CHAIRS...I literally googled a photo of one and am replacing our kitchen island chairs with them, yep that comfy.“

“Food was amazing! Prompt service, and the yams were great! I felt like I was extended family! Shout out to Apache, Ice, and Blondie! They really made me and my daughter feel at home and the food was great. Check out the chicken and dressing!“

“The food was hot and the Gloden sauce was flavorful my only complaint and here is why I give it 4 stars I asked for a cup of ranch for my chicken and it cost $1.00 for a 2oz cup I know the world is suffering but come on it could have been at least a 4oz or 5oz but I still will order food from here because the customer service was excellent and I love ❤️ me a good wing“

“Having a tip automatically added to the bill of two people is off-putting. For the record, I'm a good Tipper. I did actually add to the 15% automatically added because our server was awesome. But tipping is an addition, not part of the bill. Heck, add it to the cost of the food and I'll pay it. but not in tipping. that's my choice.“

“Best best soul food in Cleveland hands down. 5 🌟 the wings the greens the macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes and the banana pudding. Oh my God everything was so delicious and the customer service was excellent. That establishment is beautifully decorated with history memorabilia. Definitely going back. 💯“

“My First Time having this place !!! When I say DELICIOUS Isn’t the word, food was Phenomenal, I ordered fish, spaghetti, baked beans and greens. “When I want delicious soul food, I drive 2 hours to Angie’s. Amazing food and customer service, you can’t ask for anything more. My favorite is the meatloaf with greens and Mac n cheese. The portions are also very generous. Thank you Angies staff for providing incredible food and service.“
