“Atmosphere is casual, mature, classy, simple. Fun and chill place for food and drinks and talk. Definitely not a rowdy bar which is nice if you’re trying to avoid that. Decent prices, honestly good for the quality of food you get. Also GOOD portions (got the nachos, snickerdoodles, and drinks- everything was massive!!!) The Ladies running the food were phenomenal! Quick, and efficient and super sweet explaining how the place works since it was our first time. Our bartender/server was super kind also but maybe not as quick and efficient. First drink i ordered from her was VERY strong, second one was fairley weak. Otherwise good and she just seem to get caught up in conversation. Granted there was only us and 1 other table here, she also sat down to talk and conversate with the other table while we were waiting to order more. Overall really good experience though! “My husband and I received fantastic food and service on 4/27. It's the little things, such as bringing addional sweet n low packets to the table without prompting, and making sure we had a second beverage before we finished the first glass, that separate decent servers from the excellent ones. Abby is definitely in the excellent category! Our burgers were prepared as requested and tasted delicious! We don't live nearby, however, we'll definitely make a point to visit again when we are in the area.“

“This is one of the best restaurants for breakfast, brunch, and dinner. The food is consistent. I have visited all the locations in the area, and I can confidently say that the food quality, quantities, and flavor are consistent. My favorite meal selections are the cloud nine pancakes, applewood smoked bacon, homemade breakfast sausage, country breakfast, fresh buttermilk biscuit, classic cheeseburger, Northstar burger, fish sandwich, and chopped salad. I have never had a bad experience or meal at Northstar. This is the energy and sense of community that was present at Starbucks. You can see and feel through the experience and the atmosphere that Northstar is firmly committed to exceptional service and quality. This is my go-to spot to rewind, relax, and socialize.“

“Have been wanting to try this place forever and finally made it in today with my best friend, what a disappointment. Their posted hours show open till 2:30 pm, we arrived at 1:50 (plenty of time for some pancakes and coffee.) The weight staff was in full on cleanup mode and made it Very obvious they were done working for the day with the way we were greeted. I ordered decaf coffee and was told there was none left so decided to have regular and then didn't even get a full cup of that. At $4.99 a pop I need a full cup. I looked at my friend and said "they don't want to wait on us they are annoyed that they are already cleaning up and we came in" she agreed so when the server came back I politely said "we will just elsewhere we can tell you're cleaning up for the day" There was no "oh you are fine, you still have 40 minutes" or anything like that there just " are you sure?" We left and headed down the street to Delaney's Diner who would also be closing in about an hour at 3 PM but a TOTALLY different vibe. Greeted with a smile from the person at the hostess stand and 2 of the chefs even looked over and smiled and said welcome come on in! We looked at each other and said much better, we are definitely in the right place now. I've heard nothing but good things about the pancakes at the Pancake House I only wish I would have got to experience them But being treated well is more important to me than food. I understand wanting to be done work for the day believe me but it wasn't like we walked in with 3 minutes till closing. Oh well 🤷‍♀️“

“Really enjoyed our Saturday night dinner celebration for 9 of us celebrating my grandson’s UC graduation. From the appetizers to the desserts, the food was outstanding! The short ribs special was very good and we all agreed that the bay scallops and shrimp risotto is an outstanding dish! The entire staff is very friendly and for a busy Saturday night, we enjoyed excellent service! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant in downtown. You honestly can’t hardly tell the difference between that and the regular crust, it’s that good. We got both today, just to test things out and we are sold on the cauliflower crust. So, keto peeps and if you’re watching carbs, definitely treat yourself to a Classics pizza. The bar is SO CLEAN and the bartender was so friendly and pours a great drink. Staff at all First Watch are very friendly and seem to really enjoy working with there.

Parking: It's located in a newer strip mall and sits on the west side of US 23 probably halfway between Delaware and the road that takes you to Polaris.
