“Dueling Axes made for an awesome double date night! It was our first time throwing axes and knives but John gave us a great intro and coached us girls through it! He was hilarious and so approachable, willing to give more tips when I was struggling miserably LOL. We loved the variety of games, including a cornhole-style scoring game (1st to 21 or 51). The bar is very nice, and they serve an excellent peach mint mule- great work, Dan. We will definitely be going back!“

“Food is from the pizza place next door and is OK, but subs were tiny and expensive. Go to India Oak for great subs and get double meat, take half home. The Oak has good bands every weekend night. Bands outside at Gabby's and in August, Iron Cross is having a 40th reunion gig on Gabby's patio. THE BROTHERS GRIMM will open and graying Northland High School alums will ROCK! I can't find the date on the Iron Cross website! Stupid hippies. And Gabby's website doesnt list entertainment or dates? Come on people! Get it together!? The characters who are regulars ARE entertaining though! Watch your car and park by the patio entrance...... cars have been stolen in front of Gabby's and the old Northland hood is sketchy!“

“I would like to see the bartenders to be able to control or at least have some type of control over patrons that come in they’re arguing and making threats to the person they’re arguing with. Last night there was two people in there and they were in the middle isles when you come closer to the front door. One of the two people that were arguing was making threats to the other person, saying that he will kill him. He will shoot him. The bartender does nothing at all nothing. The bartender called out the wrong person loudly thought that called the police. Police came in and everybody got quiet. Safety should be number one at all times if somebody’s gonna argue, making threats and threatens to shoot the person that they are arguing with in the bar be put out and or the police called . The bartender has a responsibility to the bar and protect the patrons. This did not happen, there should be some type of protocol in place that all the bartenders need to adhere to when something of this nature happens. There was also two killings last year at two close bars we don’t need to have it at The Rock!!!!“

When you come inside, it's cozy, and it doesn't feel like a bar. It's been here for years but is up to date. Comfortable seating areas by fire, seating at bar, and pool tables, a smoking area outside, and the bathrooms are very clean.“

“The food was great. Went on a Friday so there was some live music. Service was subpar. She was busy, I'll give her that, but she kept sitting down at a table and talking to some guys. All good, do you, but at least make sure everyone got their stuff first. I had never gotten my drink. Then, it took forever for the check. My friend is a server, and she felt the service was terrible.“

“Local hangout, cheap prices, great bartenders, has been under different management and ownership since Nov. 2024 and has had a ton of updates and upgrades done with more to come. I did notice there was food stated on Google Maps, but they do not serve food. However, feel free to bring in your own.“

“We were looking for large pool tables to play on they have one and then many other tables very nice well maintained good service with top notch players coming there. We were lucky to get there early to get the one big table for a while. Staff told us normally you can't get on that table if the regulars are there. Great service and location will definitely be back.“

“Great place to bring your friends and to meet new ones. Bar is huge and can get really packed on those weekend nights. Down side to that it can be a little over whelming to the bartenders. Bar prices and happy hour are friendly to your pocket as well. Talk about a bar based around friendships ?With a pool table, basketball game and foosball to get your competitive side roaring while you watch the Buckeyes.“

“I come here often because they offer free pool on Sun, Mon, Wed nights, and they also have decent prices on drinks in general and their food is fantastic (if you get the older guy...the black hair younger dude isn't as good in the kitchen, plus gave me an attitude and is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5). EDIT: No more free pool. Oh well. Special shout out to Carson the bartender....she was amazing tonight while dealing with a tough situation on Christmas night.“

“Wedding Soup Saved Christmas. After a 3 year old sneezed right in my face 14 times during the CFP game, I felt that familiar tickle in my throat just 2 days before Christmas! We had 3 family functions, church, people staying with us, and cookies, candy and Chex-Mix to make! I ordered 2 quarts of the Italian Wedding soup on Christmas Eve, Eve and when I say I was miraculously healed, I mean it. I’ve managed to sneak in a bowl each day between the ham and cookies and I can confidently say “what cold?”. It was a Christmas miracle!! Thanks, Villa Nova!“

“Not a whole lot to say about this place that you probably don't already know. It's an amazing pool hall with tons of tables and a full bar. Haven't tried the food but I think they serve stuff. They have an ATM and change machine to make it easy to feed the tables. Very nice club with tables that play very well.“

“Out with the family for dinner and we basically had to settle for this place because there was no wait time. The inside is basically a dive frat bar with music blaring. We ate outside and while the atmosphere was gross, especially for kids, the food and service were pretty top tier. I wouldn't come back, but the overall experience wasn't bad.“

“We been going to Marcellas for years usually very good. My wife and son's meal were very good according to them, I ordered Chicken Parm usually very good. But this time I felt someone tried to serve something not parm. They served a chicken breast with sauce and cheese. Not pounded, not breaded very tough not fried. I believe the breast was baked. I ate about half. I mentioned to the server when she cleared the table. I told her the chef did not pound the chicken. When she brought the bill the took the Chicken Parm off the bill. I appreciated that but still disappointed as I fell someone tried to bill the wool over my eyes or someone in an Italian Restaurant did not know how to make chicken parm.“

“I've been coming here for years and it's remained one of my favorite restaurants. The crab rangoons are the best I've ever had. The cashew chicken is also amazing. The staff is always super friendly and nice, service is always quick and efficient, food is great, atmosphere and decor is lovely. I can't recommend this place enough. It's super casual but also feels upscale while being affordable.“

“My favorite part about this place is the happy hour special and taco Tuesday. The 5$ drinks are really good. Some of the tacos suck but the hot chicken taco is my favorite.

They don’t do Apple Pay and I didn’t have my credit card so I had to Venmo the waiter.. bring cash or card lol

Parking: Several stores right next to each other so parking can be difficult sometimes.“

Our server Preston was very nice and recommended to my wife to order from kids menu to get a single patty burger, it was still a pretty big burger. The fries were fresh hot and many, I had the tots, they were OK but I liked the fries better. Fish and chips very good, a large piece of breaded fish well seasoned.
