“Love the fact they're doing local sourcing to provide healthy meals. The food itself needs a chef to do some basic instruction to enhance the flavors - nothing awful in any way, but it wouldn't take much to make the food really rock. Not complaining, just suggesting - and kudos for the healthy local sourcing!“

“Ridiculously good subs and wraps - if you are in the area, be sure to stop in. They made me a sub that wasn’t even on thier menu anymore, and it was the best sub I’ve ever eaten. Hands. Down. Great, friendly service! Awesome atmosphere. Fresh cut fair fries are the best around. 5 ⭐️“

“Wife and I been coming to Watts for 40+ years. We have always enjoyed the service the food and the 3 owners. The present owner ( Doug) has a manager named Andy who runs the day to day operation of the restaurant. You could not find a better person for the job where you try your best to make everyone happy and still run a great business.“

“Had not been here since new ownership. The improvements I noted are extended hours and 7 days a week, more tv monitors all around the entire place, and NFL ticket. My server, Sarah was very nice and attentive to all customers. If you didn't know they have keno, pull tabs, pool and a jukebox. Highly recommend this if you like a small bar and grill in a small town with friendly people.“

“Restaurant was top shelf all across the board, but corporate stiffed us on $50 gift cards. Local MGMT is taking care of us. I do Not recommend gift cards. There are only two left within 120 miles of our house while website lists several within an hour drive. Holding company I prefume. If you are close to Mt. Vernon property their staff is outstanding.“
“I have given a fair sampling to every bar in Mount Vernon and this one has the most games, the friendliest crowd with the best taste in music and the staff keeps it entirely 100! I am not easy to impress but I am sincerely impressed by how they run their business. There is no drama and it is safe. I would like to see more people support bars like this but then again, I don't want people to go in there and trash it up.“

“The Pub has become our favorite restaurant! Whether it's for brunch on Sunday, listening to live music on weekends, or a quick dinner, we love it! Great food, great management (shout-out to Monica & Chris), & great staff (shout-out to Nick, Justin, Alyssa, John, Autumn and many others) . Love the quality standards of the Mazza family (owners)...and bonus, you can get the Mazza'rita at The Pub!! What a great place!!“

“I want to thank the staff at this location for the wonderful service and excellent breakfast. They were providing free meals for veterans today. While they were understaffed it didn’t show. All staff were courteous and very friendly. As a veteran I want to show them my appreciation. Thank you it means more than you know to have the recognition and show of support for our veterans.“
