“I had a very nice dining experience. My hostess was very knowledgeable about what was good to eat on the menu, which was everything but I chose the 8 oz steak with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli , the steak was very tender and the potatoes were prepared very tasty. I will be back for the service I got which was A-1. Ms. “

“Visiting from Maryland, and read good reviews about Danspot. Glad we came. Dinner was fantastic. I had the Shrimp Piccatta, and my wife had Pipette pesto pasta with chicken. Both were outstanding. And our server Jake, was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. If you're in the area of the MGM Northfield, be sure to stop at Danspot. You will be glad you did.“

“Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. We ordered some Pantry snacks (a must do), Walleye, Fried Chicken, and Butterscotch Pudding. Every bite was perfect. We were heartbroken losing both Lola and Greenhouse Tavern due to Covid, (and we still are) but Cordelia is the kind of restaurant that can make East 4th a go-to dining spot for us again.“

“Grumpy's Cafe has a lot to offer! The atmosphere is truly fantastic—I absolutely love the local artwork, which adds so much character and charm to the space.

As for the food, the flavors were great, and it had the potential to be a five-star meal. However, having the cheese on top instead of inside the omelette caused all the toppings to fall out, making it a bit messy to eat. A small adjustment could make a big difference!

Service was where things fell a bit short. We weren’t offered refills, and at one point, the server attempted to take my plate while I was still actively eating. A little more attentiveness would go a long way in enhancing the dining experience.

Overall, Grumpy’s has a wonderful atmosphere, good food, and a lot of potential for an even better experience with a few tweaks.“

“We recently hosted my sister's engagement party at In the Weeds, and it was the perfect venue! The private room in the back offered a great atmosphere for our event—spacious and cozy, and the private entrance made it feel extra special. The convenience of free parking with lots available both in the front and back was a big bonus. The floral arrangements, which they did in-house, were absolutely gorgeous and added such a beautiful touch to the space. Elizabeth, the event coordinator, was a dream to work with—she was quick to respond to all my questions, offered wonderful suggestions, and made sure everything went smoothly. The appetizers were delicious, and the wine selection was top-notch. It was such a pleasant experience, and I can't wait to return for another event in the future! We hadn't been there for several months over the summer, but I am happy to say that dinner this evening was right on par.
Cheddar burger cooked perfectly, fries hot and fresh. Teriyaki chicken flavorful, veggies perfectly al dante. Not to mention the garlic cheese bread! Always a favorite.

I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants quality at a fair price. “Having a tip automatically added to the bill of two people is off-putting. For the record, I'm a good Tipper. I did actually add to the 15% automatically added because our server was awesome. But tipping is an addition, not part of the bill. Heck, add it to the cost of the food and I'll pay it. but not in tipping. that's my choice.“
