“I mean WOW!!! We were driving by and just so happen to swing by. What a shockingly wonderful experience!

First off they were closed when we arrived, which we didn’t know until we looked it up on the Internet. They never told us clothes they welcomed us in.

The son greeted us first, but then the father came out and then the mother came out. We had a conversation with them, and we just felt like we’ve never been to a restaurant where someone took the time to welcome his head and was so genuine and sincere.

Now the food.

Outstanding, outstanding and outstanding!!!!

Every single item we ordered was off the charts!!! It’s all handmade homemade amazing flavorful food.

Oh and we had dessert too!!!! Wow wow wow!!!

The bacon was barely cooked and warm and the shrimp smelled very fishy and barely warm so I did not eat the shrimp and I peeled the bacon off the filet. The Parmesan mashed potatoes had good flavor but were barely warm. Our other three meals were good. Should have ordered the tomahawk pork chop - always delicious!“

“Me and the kiddo went here for Valentines day, and we were sat in this cute little corner with twinkly notes, facing the road. We don't go here often, so I didn't even know this portion of the restaurant existed. It was quite charming.

We ordered the bourbon street rum pancakes, the salmon benedict, and the veggie omelet were all delicious. Our server was excellent and dressed all cutesy as well. Loved it.“

“Multiple times there was an older lady who visited our table to see if we needed anything. The young men who took our order were both very friendly. The food was hot, and delicious. They have 3 BBQ sauces out by the drinks, and there are a few specialty sauces available upon request. Everyone gets an ice cream cone at the end of the meal. This was the PERFECT spot for a family fun lunch date.“

“We have lived in the Burg for 15 years and somehow just today went to the Koffee Kup for the first time (I know shame on us). We thoroughly enjoyed it. It was what my heart, soul and tummy needed. “Decided to try the new WH in Middletown, after a total of 15 minutes of being ignored, we left and drove 4 miles to Franklin, We sat, ordered and had food on the table with in ten minutes. Waitress was super, food was perfect. Avoid Middletown, its worth the short drive to Franklin“

“If you guys haven't stopped in lately please revisit. they are under new ownership and is and the owner MJ cooks great food. Try the grilled menu or fish! way better than fried. They are doing a lot to make the place nice inside and outside. They haven't changed the sign but it is not the same place. Clean food honestly cooked.“

“I want to thank Manager C. Vance for inviting me to a second opportunity to try the Applebee’s sirloin steak. Unfortunately my medium rare sirloin was only slightly better than the first. The issue with both sirloins was the tough stringy gristle found throughout the meat. Flavor was good but you have to be very careful not to get choked because the meat just doesn’t want to separate while chewing it. Despite this negative I do recommend Applebee’s, just know it’s not a steakhouse. I look forward to returning and trying the other items on the menu. Again thank you for the excellent customer service from both you and the entire staff.“

“This is my first Superbowl back in Ohio and I HAD to get the boneless wings! Gotta give this spot props, they had a GATHERING of people to pick up orders, line of cars outside was bonkers. They were able to keep the heard together and calm while simultaneously keeping all the current orders bagged and ready to go the moment the customer paid. They have a txt system that works great, they ask you to not come inside until you receive a txt, that strategy clearly worked. Made what could have been a nightmare pickup into a seamless transition. Absolutely love this spot and appreciate the staff.“

“The fish at this Fish Fry is excellent! It is so light and flaky. The sides are also very good. The people running this have worked so hard to get things running smoothly and reduce waiting time! The lines go quickly with no more than a 10 minute wait. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to buy a meal on a Friday evening. You can even call the order in and pick it up!“

“This is one of our favorite spots for brunch, especially when we have out of town guests. I had to try something new this trip because we went later. I usually get the shrimp and grits (holy smokes, so good!!), but the kitchen had run out of grits. We ordered a variety of dishes to share: the salmon Benny (it came with a cooked salmon filet instead of smoke salmon which was definitely not traditional but good), the avocado toast (5/5 stars), the biscuits and gravy side (5/5, and as a southerner, I must say it's the best from a restaurant I've had), the French toast (4.5/5, you don't even need the syrup), bacon & fig jam sandwich (what a mix of sweet and salty. Heaven), and a few other items which were all very enjoyable. The drinks were spot on, as well. Our guests also purchased items from the bakery, which were all wonderful.“

“On two separate occasions I have ordered the chicken strips meal, and each time I've gotten them they are deep fried too long. End pieces are hard and the rest is over crispy. Won't be ordering these again. The rest of the meals I've ordered have been good! I like Bob Evans just not their chicken strips.“

“On Monday, June 3rd. The Middletown’s Police Chief along with others from the FOPA held a friendly competition. They had nominated 9 local restaurants in our “Best Burger in Middletown” showdown. Middletown’s own “Swire Inn” took home the WIN!!! They had entered the Swire Inn Burger. Harmonizing with goodness & singing to our souls. This burger was inviting & tantalizing. With a mouth-watering juicy look that stole the show. Cooked to perfection and topped with freshness by Chef Jason Kauffman. We want to thank The Swire Inn and all of our nominees for their continued support to our community and Middletown’s Police Department.“

“The staff was very friendly and if we weren't sure about a dish they explained it to us. They have a wide range of dishes to chose from. They do get very busy sometimes. I enjoyed a beef taco salad and it was so good. My husband had enchiladas and he said they were really good. He said he will definitely get them again.“

Edit after picking up farm house feast: the feast Turkey, pies, rolls, are great portions, the ham that comes with it is a little lacking, if you dont have a free ham from work id suggest getting extra ham, the sides are plastic cups with lids, about the size of a large coke from McDonald's so im glad I got 2x side lover bundle with it. The foods quality looks great, tho I won't know till Christmas day. If your severing 10 people I would go extra ham and 2x side lover just to be safe. Was it $300 worth of food? Not really but if I wanted value i would have got all of this at the grocery store and prepped it myself. The higher price is for the convenience bob evens offers in making this Christmas easy and hassle free for the whole family. And thats why it is worth it to me.“

We had a flat tire in the parking lot eve of July 4th, and the manager Billy went above and beyond by offering help with the flat and inviting our family inside to stay cool while we waited for AAA. Even though the restaurant was about to close, he kept the doors open a little longer just to accommodate us and our kids. Truly kind and compassionate service — thank you, Billy!
