“I want to give a major shout out to this Biggby Coffee in St Bernard. They are always a friendly coffee shop housed in a small building they share with Skyline Chili. After extreme storms hit the greater Cincinnati area on August 11, 2026, a large area in St Bernard was without power, including St Bernard's grocery store, Dollar Tree, Wendy's, Hamilton County Public Library, etc.

Biggby Coffee was serving people all day long and at times truly slammed with customers. What touched my heart was in the afternoon when I went down, they were patiently allowing all of us to charge phones and hand chargers, computers and tablets for kids, even in one case hearing aids! They let people know they could stay as long as they needed. Rain was coming in waves and they never hurried any customer out. Their Grace was appreciated. The customers when I was there ranged in age from 4 years old through at least 79 which is how old I am. Saint Bernard can be grateful for that coffee shop. The owner can be proud of his employees. I'm certain they made a lot of loyal customers yesterday.
