“Had a date night this evening in Grandview and decided to stop by for couple drinks. We had a blast sitting at the bar striking conversations with the wonderful Saturday night bartender. Seems to be a great asset to the Derby team!“

“Food is great however educate your staff on wines and cocktails. Also $63 for a hamburger fries, drink, and appetizers tip is getting ridiculous.“

“Great sports bar! The atmosphere was lively, the TVs were everywhere, and the staff kept the drinks coming without a long wait. I went in to catch a game and ended up staying longer because the energy was so good. Definitely a fun spot to watch sports and hang out !“

“We were a party of 7. I booked online to make it easy and they could expect us. As expected when we arrived we were immediacy seated ( Saturday 4:30 reservation) Service was great. Food was great. We alerted server of a food allergy her and the rest of the kitchen team went out of their way to clean out the fryer and put in fresh oil so that my niece could have french fries. This was super thoughtful. When we went, it was not super busy, but it did pick up quickly and get loud in the restaurant - though it is a sports bar, - it DOES carry restaurant quality, and I would most definitely recommend. Our servers name was Aryanna- she was top notch!!!“

“We are from out of town and needed to feed 16 people after our original plan fell through. I called and spoke to Jeremy and he was quick to accommodate. I have to say the service was impeccable and so was the food. Every one of our orders was perfectly prepared and delicious. Our server ( I’m sorry i don’t remember her name, but I’m sure she knows who we are talking about) was amazing and professional and never missed a beat! I would highly recommend this establishment !! “I was visiting Columbus, Ohio and wanted a fun vibe, and Bernard’s Tavern delivered. The music was great and the food delicious. We shared the taquitos, the Cajun pasta, and the deep dish cookie dessert, all of which were amazing. I will definitely come back next time I am in town.“

“First time here. I stopped by after work with my buddy and was immediately met by a bartender named Riana. She turned out to be one of the best bartenders I’ve caught me across at a “large bar”. She was knowledgeable, engaged and made both of us feel at home. The food was great as well, I had the waffle fries loaded. We will definitely ba back!“

“Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

It’s small, clean, laid back with a decent menu of mostly fried fare That is the only negative, the whole place smells like a fryolator, you will need to wash your entire outfit, down to your skivies. “If you’re looking for some of the best wings in Columbus, look no further. Found this place online after a quick search for wings. The wings were so good, I actually went back a second time in less than a week. The vibes were typical bar vibes, the service was better the second visit but the food was great both times. We tried the Mac n Cheese, wasn’t bad at all but nothing that I’d order again. The wings are what I went for and I’d recommend those as a 10/10!“

“First time I ever eat here, I was passing through. They were super busy but we only waited 30mins and appetizers came out within 5 mins or so. Food was out within about 20 mins. We did not order a single thing that didn't taste phenomenal!

I was worried their pizza would be too thin of crust since they don't make anything other than that, but it tasted so good I forgot it was thin crust. It wasn't a crunchy thin crust either, it was soft dough.

Their boneless wings were absolutely amazing. We will absolutely be going back.“

“My friend and I are regulars at this Roosters location. The food is always fresh and made-to-order, and you really can’t beat their prices these days! We did have one experience where the service was very poor, which was frustrating, but I decided to give them another try. “Food is from the pizza place next door and is OK, but subs were tiny and expensive. Go to India Oak for great subs and get double meat, take half home. The Oak has good bands every weekend night. Bands outside at Gabby's and in August, Iron Cross is having a 40th reunion gig on Gabby's patio. THE BROTHERS GRIMM will open and graying Northland High School alums will ROCK! I can't find the date on the Iron Cross website! Stupid hippies. And Gabby's website doesnt list entertainment or dates? Come on people! Get it together!? The characters who are regulars ARE entertaining though! Watch your car and park by the patio entrance...... cars have been stolen in front of Gabby's and the old Northland hood is sketchy!“

“This bar epitomizes the home town old school vibe(this bar has been in business since the 1930's)! Punky and Aggie behind the bar are pure awesomeness! I am from Cleveland and always look for old school bars when I travel. This bar is one of the best I ever stopped into. Aggie today (has been here 13+ years) had homemade deviled eggs and pickled eggs with beets. Amazing! Literally one of the best bars I have ever been into during the day! Holler!!!“

“We were in town for a Buckeyes game. Our AirBnb was about two blocks away so this was so convenient. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in, we knew we’d love it. The owner greeted us at the door and welcomed us. We had the pizza which was great! The pretzels were also amazing!!! Would definitely recommend!“

The food was all delicious (was pleasantly surprised) our server was great and personable. The restaurant seemed short staffed but was able to get food out in a reasonable time frame.
