The restaurant gives off a charming yet cozy feel, with moody dim lighting and a big crackling fireplace in the center of the dining room that makes you feel at home🤎 we also had the most incredible and accommodating server, shoutout to Jay who hand wrote his favorite Columbus foodie recommendations out for us since we’re new to the area!!! NOW ONTO DINNER: the iron skillet cheddar biscuits are an absolute must!! Served warm and brushed with salted better, they’re just delicious👌🏽followed by the grilled artichokes served with an excellent creamy remoulade!! We also ordered the Hollywood Salad and the Barbequte pork ribs- the meat was fall of the bone tender and the coleslaw + fries complemented the dish perfectly!! Been vegan for almost 15 years now, with an 11-year-old who has been vegan all his life, & fiancé who has been vegan 4 years now - and this was some of the most delicious mac & cheese we have ever had! All three of us ordered a different sandwich and they were all phenomenal - the buffalo chik'n special, spicy bak'n burger special, and the regular chik'n sandwich. “I can’t say enough good things about this place. First of all, it’s entirely Vegan. I’ve been to Vegan restaurants all around the U.S. and Europe, and this is one of the absolute best right in Columbus! Chef Chad is just a cool dude. My wife and I got to meet him at VegFest and he couldn’t have been any nicer. We watched his show Top Vegan and because of all of this, we decided to make a trip from Cleveland to Columbus. We are so happy we did and this place lives up to the hype. The Vrunchwrap was delicious and it’s so good we are going to figure out how to recreate it at home. “My Husband & I are so grateful to Woodhouse Vegan for hosting & catering our intimate 40 person wedding in September 2022. My husband and I are both vegan, and found the prospect of finding vegan catering for our small wedding daunting. We were thrilled that Woodhouse, one of the best vegan restaurants in Columbus, was open to not only catering our wedding, but also hosting it! Carla & the entire Woodhouse team made our big day incredible!! They did a fantastic job communicating prior to the wedding- we spoke via email, text, phone, and in person at the Woodhouse space. They answered all of our questions & provided helpful suggestions for how the night should run. On the day of our wedding they were flexible and provided us the stress-free easy going atmosphere we were hoping for. Carla kindly whispered a few things in our ears as the night went on letting us know how the bar tab was doing and to check in prior to serving each course. We had so much fun! The entire Woodhouse team helped us craft a delicious multi-course meal that our vegan and non-vegan guests loved. Their drinks were also fantastic! They happily catered to a few picky eaters on the guest list, as well as provided some non-alcoholic options for our non-drinking guests. The atmosphere was gorgeous, as always, and we were thrilled to use both the patio and indoor space. With 40 guests the space felt lively but not crowded. We even had space to install a small archway in the patio for the ceremony. We’re so grateful to the whole Woodhouse team for all they did to make our dream wedding day come to life!“

“This was my daughter's idea. She really likes a lot of health conscience food. For me, if im eating out, I want it tasty. Well this place hit both of those marks with flying colors. The food was delish and for as tasty as it was I really expected it to be a whole lot more per meal. We spent $34. + tip and both of us got a bowl with 1 protein and shared some potstickers. “pros and cons. CONS.. If you were to base your visit on first checking out the cleanliness of the bathrooms before you eat, you'd turn around and leave. The men's room in the basement needs so much work and the multiple colonies of gnats was like visiting the basement of college kids from a party and cans and spilled beer have never been cleaned up. Horrible condition. The ladies refused to even look at theirs. Booths are small and tight. Definitely an old building, but it's kind of cool with its history. PROS... Those were some really really good burgers. Wife got the Ali and I got the Old School. Burgers are huge and easily splitable. We tried this after friends suggested the burgers and we were not disappointed. Onion rings were too greasy for us, but the fries and homemade chips were great. Alll and all, it's definitely an option to eat again when in town.“

“Not sure how this doesn't have five stars across the board. We drove from almost ten hours away and after scouring places to eat we decided to stop here. The crust is crisp, not soggy or tough with good flavor and thickness. You can't go wrong with fresh ingredients like the mozzarella and mushrooms (fresh not canned, wowee!) either. We also tried Gina's Gem and between the beautiful focaccia and the dip being creamy while also sweet with a small back burn to it, you really can't go wrong. The bar is a great place to sit, no spoilers, but the walls and shelves are filled with awesome and hilarious things that make good conversation. It's a shame this wonderful place is so far from home but we're hoping to make it a yearly tradition. Thanks for the great food, staff, and atmosphere!“
