“I took my 22-year-old son to the meadery for his birthday. Not only did we get special tastings we got the history and knowledge of how this small business came to be. Our bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, had a very inviting personality and to top it all off he makes amazing mead!!! Be careful everyone it's got more alcohol content than I'm used to and it's crap up on me pretty quick LOL!!!!“

“Posted up at Parable Coffee to work on some personal projects on a Saturday for a few hours. First got a loose leaf black tea, and then later a sour beer they had on draft. Both were competitively priced. Loved the staff, and the ambiance is everything! Giving off the big city vibes I've been missing from my last city. I will say it was a surprise they had automatic gratuity, and it was a bit loud because it was busy. I just threw in airpods, and all was well. Next time I'll try a bite to eat. Would recommend simply to check out the interior design and music selection.“

“We would like to thank the restaurant for giving us happy memories during our short trip to Ohio with top-notch taste and service. I think the steaks here are really good, especially the filet mignon and Seared Tenderloin. For appetizers, I had Pan-fried Calamari and Tuna Tartare, which were also very satisfying. Although the service is slow when there are a lot of people, they are very friendly, and everything including table spacing, interior design, and lighting was comfortable. Although the prices are not very friendly, this is a steakhouse I would definitely come back to when I visit Ohio.“

With wide-open seating, tree-covered areas, and cozy hanging lights, the vibe was equal parts romantic and relaxed. 💫 The beer selection? Exactly what you want in a neighborhood brewery—a perfect variety of drinkable, staple brews that suit all tastes. On a hot summer evening though, I would’ve loved to see a frosted glass option—the beer warmed up a little too fast for my liking. We ordered the giant pretzel, which definitely delivered on size! The beer cheese was decent, but we were hoping for a bit more creativity or a “mystery dip” option to spice it up. Also… just give us one good cup of cheese with it instead of making everyone upgrade for a second portion. Small thing, but it stood out. As the sun set, the whole place started to feel like something out of a movie. Couples celebrating engagements, friends laughing over cornhole in the corner, and a casual, easy energy. The only thing missing? Some live music, especially for a Saturday night. 🎶 We found ourselves lost in conversation… time honestly stood still. It felt both lively and private, which is a rare combo these days. If I had one other piece of feedback, it’d be for a slightly bigger food menu and maybe a kiddo cut-off time around 7 PM, just so the evening crowd can fully settle into adult mode. “Eight of us went there for lunch and ordered just about the whole lunch menu to create a tasting menu that we could all share. None of us had been to Speck before and we all loved the food, service, and space and all want to go back with our significant others for dinner. We came in from the outskirts of town and was concerned about finding parking but street parking near the restaurant was actually relatively easy. Highly recommend Speck.“

The evening of our event, Eric took the best care of us. We did a wine tasting before dinner & he was so knowledgeable about the wines he was serving us. Dinner & drinks were loved by all. They even personalized the menus with our company logo which I thought was a sweet touch.“

First, they have one heck of a Happy Hour both for their food and beverage offerings were fantastic, I mean how often do you see French 75s and Palomas on a Happy Hour menu. “This place makes the gold standard best crabcake away from a coast. If it was ONLY crabcake, I would give it five stars. My dining companions have also enjoyed their meals. The cheesecake or key lime pie is a perfect little treat to share at the end of the meal. What else can I say? I haven't ordered anything but crabcakes since my long search for perfection has finally come true. Take a person who loves seafood. From fried sandwiches to fancy steaks, I've heard this place serves other stuff besides crabcakes, too.“

“05/24/2025 - First time visiting this Habaneros Fresh Mexican Grill in Hilliard with family and friends. This is the 3rd Habaneros I have visited. The set up is placing your order at a register and then it is brought to your table. They have dining with regular seating tables and partial booths seating. The high top chairs are at the bar. I ordered their house Jumbo Margarita on the rocks with salt; always on point. I ordered the Trio Dip for an appetizer for my party to share, and a Chicken Bowl. For my dessert, I ordered their Choco Flan which was tasty. Our server Corbin was professionally friendly and prompt! Parking out front. Decent prices.“

“My husband and I recently visited Dos Hermanos (in Easton) for our weekly date night, and let me tell you, it was hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long, long time. After living in Columbus for over 3 years (and searching high & low), I had come to the sad conclusion that there were no good authentic Mexican restaurants in thus city — that was, until I stepped foot into Dos Hermanos. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with hot chips and fresh, flavorful salsa that set the tone for the rest of our meal. The menu features a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes at reasonable prices. My husband and I tried the queso blanco, street tacos, Birria tacos, and churros. Each dish was flavourful, hot, and super fresh. My personal favorite were the Birria tacos — every bite was packed with the right balance of spices and tenderness. I am very picky when it comes to restaurants, especially Mexican, and let me tell you; if you like flavor (not just salt…), this is the place for you! The food wasn’t all that impressed us — the wait staff was equally fantastic. Our waitress, Megan, was an absolute superstar. She was attentive, friendly, and made our experience very enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, and well staffed— a true hidden gem. After our first visit, we couldn’t resist going back again (only 2 weeks later), and I’m happy to report that the experience was just as perfect as before. No doubt about it, Dos Hermanos deserves a solid 5 out of 5 stars. My search for a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Columbus is officially over!
