Healthy food is abundantly advertised nowadays, however, Alfie's is a CLEAR standout when it comes to QUALITY. “We kind of discovered Elliot's through pure serendipity. We were in the downtown Newark area looking for a new place to eat and my wife was not having much luck finding anything on her phone. I just randomly pulled into a vacant parking slot so that I could take a shot and when I looked up Elliot's was right in front of us. We decided it was fate and walked in. We were met with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and prompt service. Although they specialize in pizza, we are not the types that order pizza when we go out, so I opted for the street tacos (two fish and two shrimp) while my wife ordered the Philly sandwich. The beer selection was amazing and we walked out feeling like we had lucked into a gem of a dining experience. Since then, we have been to the locations in Pataskala and New Albany on several occasions and so far we have not been disappointed. Lately, I have been going with the Steakhouse Salad which is totally delicious. Price is commiserate with the overall dining experience. If you haven't tried Elliot's yet I strongly encourage you to do so.“

“What an amazing first time here! Laid back bar and restaurant. Kinda reminds me of a 50s style bar. Unfortunately no TVs. But have a good jukebox and lots of things to check out on the walls. Had the benji burger and it was fire. I give this place a 5 ⭐️ Oh and the beer 💯“

“I stayed at the DoubleTree which is attached to the restaurant. I did carry-out. I got the meatloaf griller with Parmesan herb fries and brussel sprouts. They were all very delicious. I topped off my meal with a piece of their carrot cake. The carrot cake had caramel drizzle and whipped cream with a candied pecan on top. It was very rich! I spent $34 on the meal.The restaurant itself is a bar style set up with a few booths.There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel as well.“

“I am a 76 year old guy who has been eating lunch at the Honey Baked Ham Store in Heath Ohio for many years. I use to stop in for lunch breaks when I was working, and now that am retired I stop in even more often. To me it is one of the best places in town to go for lunch. Their sandwiches are always fresh, made to order, delicious, and their sides, like potato salad, are great as well. The eating area is very relaxing and maybe the cleanest I’ve ever been in. I have to also mention, the service is great. Nessa and Jackie are always polite, and eager to take your order as well as deliver your food. If you’re looking for a quiet little place to relax, which is what I like to do, and have lunch, I highly recommend the Honey Baked Store in Heath Ohio. It doesn’t get any better!“

“We had set meals today. Steak was well delivered, prawn bisque perfectly done and choc lava cake with ice cream ok. They’ve been very generous with the portion.“

“Good food. Good service. Resonably priced. Waiter was very good at his job. Took our drink order as soon as we were seated. Checked on us during our meal to make sure our meals were made to order. No problems at all except for my wife's dessert that wasn't no one's fault. She can't eat nuts right now because of some dental problems. No allergies to peanuts. She still ate the dessert and doing fine. Meals were both great. She had steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the grilled cheese cheeseburger with squash. Very good ! Alexander did a great job.“

“My filet was so tasty but slightly past MR. My husband had the big ribeye and said it was juicy and full of flavor. We both enjoyed our salads as well as the bread. Our onions were good but the sauce was lacking in flavor. We had the fire roasted corn which could have been roasted a little longer. I enjoy that roasted flavor. Our server was wonderful.“

“As someone who is a fried chicken/wing fanatic - this place was pretty awesome. We were seated in a timely fashion, got our drinks pretty quickly, and our food didn’t take too long either! Now on to the interesting part.
I got ten wings w/ mango habanero sauce on them. I like spicy things, these weren’t too spicy, they had a pleasant burn to them. I would probably get the next level up on my next visit. I was VERY surprised by the size of these wings. They were much larger than most wing places I have been, about which I was very happy.
Another party member got five wings w/ garlic Parmesan. They were cooked quite well, the flavors were nicely balanced. Once again, they were quite large. She also got a burger, which I did not sample, but I was informed it tasted great!
Lastly, our third party member got a basic salad w/ chicken. When it came out, she was pretty shocked by how large it was. It was a giant bowl absolutely filled with salad and pieces of chicken.
Our appetizer was fried mushrooms, which I forgot to take a picture of. They were alright, not the best I’ve had, but they certainly weren’t bad.
The atmosphere is rather loud, so if you want a quiet place to eat, probably don’t come here.
All in all, 10/10 visit, would recommend, would come again.“

“Friday my daughter & I both had our first Papa Boos experience! 🤩🤩 Alysa and Skye were our servers (sorry if I spelled your names wrong) they were super! Food was BOMB! 🤤 View was to die for! We went home and promptly told my husband we needed to go up once the kids got out of school! 🥰“

“Best customer service ever. while there tonight, we had Ricky as our server, at first he seemed a little nervous with us, I'm not sure if he's new to the job, or had a not so good table before us, but he eventually warmed up to us, started joking with us, kept up on refills, checked in multiple times with us. towards the end of our meal, he asked if we wanted anything else, jokingly i said "a winning lottery ticket" as its very common to say when asked that. Ricky says "hold on a minute" grabs his wallet from his pocket, and hands me a winning scratch off lottery ticket. This is the first time ever with a long history of dining out that I have seen this happen. Ricky you are THE MAN, and if this review actually gets read by your management team, you deserve a raise!“

“I recently used City Barbeque’s catering service for an event. The service - from start to finish - was excellent & the food was just as good!

Two words - SMASHED POTATOES!!!!! Although everything was delicious, the smashed potatoes put it over the edge. The main dishes (pulled pork & chicken), with the signature sauces are stand-alone incredible. But when the sides are added, be they smashed potatoes or mac & cheese, the meal is amplified!

And the service! The food was delivered on time, warmed, and laid out in an orderly fashion. …almost as if they’ve done this a time or two!

“As a member of the Guernsey Valley Old Car Club, I visited the restaurant today and enjoyed my meal. My only complaint was that the music, (I grew up in a musical family), was too loud for us to have much of a conversation during our visit. I will still definitely come back again.“

“My family absolutely loves Texas Roadhouse in Newark. The kids were so excited to go there tonight. My daughter and I both always order the 6oz and 8oz sirloin and my little one orders the bites. We were very disappointed to find out after our order came out that they were completely out of A1. We always eat A1 with our steak. My steak had zero seasoning. Yes I could have sent it back but for personal reasons that is not an option for me. The manager happen to come around as I was boxing up all our steak and was very apologetic and said that their shipment must have not arrived. I totally understand that things are delayed but we would have ordered something else if we had known.“

“We go out of our way 35 minutes from where we live at to visit this one that gives you so much more food than our local 1 does the grilled chicken look so much better bigger fatter pieces and they've never messed up on our order at this place. Tonight I want to thank the manager for fixing an error. I had put in an online order this afternoon called to change the pick up time to 4pm. got there and It wasn't ready someone overlooked the order. but the manager fixed it ...we got home our order was perfectly done. thank you! “Bob Evans has a vibe, doesn't matter which one you walk into they all have the same vibe. Kind of like a cracker barrel but more after church on Sunday. Cracker barrel is Bob Evans cousin that shoots dice but doesn't tell anybody, you know what I mean?

Rolls over biscuits. This is something that has ruined many a dinner conversation, but it has to be said. Also, the wildfire chicken salad is amazing highly recommend it. Building your own omelette and having a side of pancakes with it is something that reminds you what it's all about and when your kids ask for your leftovers you know you did a good job.“
