“This is as local off the main venue you can get! Recommend by a friend who lives in Cincinnati. Very busy bar with tables and smoked chicken wings. The pork nachos are better than they look and large selection of local beers as well as alcohol. The night we were there a Reds game was in town so it was super busy but the bar tenders kept rolling. A lively fun spot!“

“If you ask how I want the burger cooked, you got to deliver. I said medium, and I got well done, not burnt or dry though. It was still juicy and seasoned fine. It was just "eh". A $16 burger should make want to come back. Fries were seasoned well and crispy.“

“O'Bryons is the epitome neighborhood bar and restaurant in Newport. Service is courteous, friendly and timely. The bartender is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Food is above average while being prepared well and fresh. The chicken wrap and chicken wings were tasty. Prices are reasonable for the area. Parking is a bit of a challenge with it all being street parking. Overall a good experience and worth trying out.“

I had a bowl of potato soup, then prime rib with mushrooms as a side and a tossed salad. Everything tasted great including the prime rib which was a nice piece with hardly any fat. Our server's name was Danielle and she was fantastic--friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We were there on a Friday before it got crowded, so it wasn't noisy. He had the mushroom sauce on his and LOVED it and Sharon had the marinara sauce on hers and she said it was okay. Hubs said my nose was sweating quite a bit. Bob had the Philly Cheese steak and fries and really liked them as well. The waitress mentioned they had recently changed to home made fries. Both Bob and I said they needed to be more crispy but otherwise tasted good. The business is big square footage wise but there wasn't a lot of people in here at the six o'clock hour. But the food is good and the service people were nice and didn't hound us. It was a good meal and would come back again sometime.“

“I was invited to a retirement party at Longshots. The food was catered in from the grill there. There were jalapenos poppers, chicken fingers and small slider type sandwiches. It was all good.They closed about half of the seating off for our party. The folks at the bar were extremely friendly and service was very fast.It was my first visit to longshots, it's a very typical bar and grill with decent drink prices. We will definitely be stopping back.“

People on here were complaining that nobody took their order. Well, you have to go up to the counter to place your order, have your number called, and then pick up your food and bring it to your party. Let me tell ya, the portion sizes are great and everything tasted amazing!!! The only reason why I gave this place 4 out of 5 stars was because it cost me $40 for two people. They have a nice outdoor patio and sand volleyball set up out back. There's plenty of parking nearby and out front. The only negative thing I can say is that the bathrooms could use cleaning more. Sounds like any bar bathroom, though. Other than that, I love going here with friends on the weekends when we can all get together.“
