“Very quiet!! Very polite atmosphere!!! No one hurling out F-Bombs!! Very peaceful.

I visited 6 - 10, 13 April 2026. My lunch destination for now on!!! I am a charter customer eating my first meals in 1979 prior to joining the US Army and a few times a week once my brother retired from the US Army in 1995.

This of course until the relocation to Main & College St.

“The staff is so friendly. The drive-through is always open. The food’s always fresh and tastes good. inside the store is always clean no trash no nothing. I love coming to this place. Best of all they got green beans. The GM she’s sweet and wonderful. Her assistant is wonderful as well. overall, they have a really good staff here and they should keep the stuff that they got. I’ve had multiple people there when I’ve came and they’ve always treated me with kind and open arms. I’m just so glad that my food’s always good when I come here I have no issues with the store at all. so I don’t know about what other people said, but they don’t know what they’re missing.“

“I LOVE Roosters. You have no idea. And let me tell you, I think this specific Roosters does it the best. I mean, 5 stars all the way. The shrimp was delicious and I think they hooked me up with some extra, and the Nashville chicken sandwich was aooo crispy and moist and it fell apart, and they gave me the extra mayo I asked for the first time! Amazing, best roosters visit I’ve ever had.“

“Chili blog on the road. on a road trip to columbus.. After a nice fall walk and some record shopping. i picked up Chili and cornbread. For 5.50 The chili was very decent. Huge chunks of beef chili and kidney beans. Onion dices so thin that you get that flavor without the texture they also appear to use red pepper but no chunky tomatoes. This chili had a very minimal amount of spice. Overall. 7.5 I'd definitely come back for the chili.“

“I found this restaurant by accident and I’m absolutely in love. The service is amazing — the staff is so kind and attentive. Every type of fried chicken is delicious, the fries are perfect, and the rice is simple but so good.

THE KIMCHI IS THE BEST I’VE EVER HAD IN OHIO. Seriously.

The beer on draft is freezing cold (bring a jacket 😅), but it’s worth it.

If someone speaks badly about this place, they probably don’t understand good food and might just be used to fast food.

“The shrimp and grits are the bomb, prices are reasonable, a big variety of choices in food. So far two thumbs up. I will try the sampler plate next time..4 items for 12$ sounds like a great deal to me!!!“

“Roosters German Village has very limited parking..so be prepared to park on the street..I had potato skins--they were fresh and delicious. Ordered a Margarita...it was so good I gave the bartender a tip, well I gave to my server to give to her because she was busy- I hope she got it, ordered 6 wings with a Asian sauc. I haven't been to any Roosters for over 8 years...I ate one wing, it lacked flavor and it was over cooked. I may not return for the wings but will return to have a margarita and try some of their other items on the menu“

The place has more of a rough, hole-in-the-wall vibe and didn’t feel like the nicest area at first, but it seemed like a true local spot where regulars feel at home. They were very kind to donate and gave us more than we thought we would ever sell but once everyone saw the menu list Smokey Bones made our pork and beans . . . we sold out of everything but 1 servicing of beans! 100% of the sales are going to NCH. “My Girlfriends order was completely wrong ordered pizza, bbq wings, & a 2-liter of Sprite. missed the wings yet put the bbq sauce on a cheese pizza, had to go back in and get my girlfriends wings order separately 25 more minutes of wait time.
Cierra the manager was super sweet and replaced everything with a credit. Bbq cheese pizza, was not my Girlfriend's thing, I tried a wing and they were pretty dang'on good.
Cierra showed great professionalism in making it right. We're going to try a veggie pizza next weekend. Thanks ya'll. Shout out to Cierra. I'll give them a second chance just on GP.“
