“My family lives about an hour and a half away from Ashland. We love Dukin's here in town so we stop by at the Ashland one on Claremont avenue. I have to say, we have never been to such a nice welcoming and friendly restaurant. On top of the food being so well made prompt and top-notch, Megan who works there was absolutely wonderful to us. We felt welcomed and cared for just as if we were known as regular customers there. I have to say, that anybody who makes someone who is from out of town feel this welcome, it's a five-star plus I couldn't give a higher review if I wanted to. “On November 12, 2023, my family and I were on our way to Akron to have our beloved pet Zoey put down, who had been suffering from seizures and heart issues. We stopped for coffee at the drive-through, where a kind female employee noticed our dog in the back seat. She offered us a snack for her, but I told her that she might not eat it because of her condition and we were on our way to have her put down ):. She broke down in tears, and so did pretty much everyone else including myself, they all came to the window to express their sympathy and support. My fiancé and I were shocked and touched by their generosity and empathy, and we broke down in tears. They treated our dog as one of their own, they showed us the most amazing kindness, and compassion that we have ever experienced.The employees were so compassionate and understanding that they made a special care package for our dog, with a sandwich and some snacks… I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for making our difficult journey a little bit easier. The team here is pretty responsive, good at keeping you updated if there's a wait. As soon as you walk in, they make an effort to recognize you—typically no backs turned, no passive aggressive nudge to order at the kiosk like a robot. They’re genuinely welcoming and personable. The drive-thru is fast, the dining room is above average clean, no horrow shows in the bathroom, and the sandwiches? Never smashed or sloppily thrown together when I've stopped in—just made right. Some people got home and realized a mistake was made and 1 starred this place. Ashland is so lucky to have this spot; you’d have to venture to some remote place like Mormon Idaho to stumble across a McDonald’s this special. Keep striving for greatness!“

“I order at the drive thru most mornings around 4am and Sue is the absolute best employee I've ever met at any McDonalds. She goes above and beyond to make sure the food and coffee is fresh everytime I visit. She is polite, kind, and caring of the customer. I previously would go to Dunkin Donuts for my breakfast but because of Sue's great service, I now choose McDonalds everytime. Thank you Sue for your hard work and amazing customer service!“
