“I stayed at the DoubleTree which is attached to the restaurant. I did carry-out. I got the meatloaf griller with Parmesan herb fries and brussel sprouts. They were all very delicious. I topped off my meal with a piece of their carrot cake. The carrot cake had caramel drizzle and whipped cream with a candied pecan on top. It was very rich! I spent $34 on the meal.The restaurant itself is a bar style set up with a few booths.There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel as well.“

“Good food. Good service. Resonably priced. Waiter was very good at his job. Took our drink order as soon as we were seated. Checked on us during our meal to make sure our meals were made to order. No problems at all except for my wife's dessert that wasn't no one's fault. She can't eat nuts right now because of some dental problems. No allergies to peanuts. She still ate the dessert and doing fine. Meals were both great. She had steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the grilled cheese cheeseburger with squash. Very good ! “Best customer service ever. while there tonight, we had Ricky as our server, at first he seemed a little nervous with us, I'm not sure if he's new to the job, or had a not so good table before us, but he eventually warmed up to us, started joking with us, kept up on refills, checked in multiple times with us. towards the end of our meal, he asked if we wanted anything else, jokingly i said "a winning lottery ticket" as its very common to say when asked that. Ricky says "hold on a minute" grabs his wallet from his pocket, and hands me a winning scratch off lottery ticket. This is the first time ever with a long history of dining out that I have seen this happen. Ricky you are THE MAN, and if this review actually gets read by your management team, you deserve a raise!“

“As a member of the Guernsey Valley Old Car Club, I visited the restaurant today and enjoyed my meal. My only complaint was that the music, (I grew up in a musical family), was too loud for us to have much of a conversation during our visit. I will still definitely come back again.“

“My family absolutely loves Texas Roadhouse in Newark. The kids were so excited to go there tonight. My daughter and I both always order the 6oz and 8oz sirloin and my little one orders the bites. We were very disappointed to find out after our order came out that they were completely out of A1. We always eat A1 with our steak. My steak had zero seasoning. Yes I could have sent it back but for personal reasons that is not an option for me. The manager happen to come around as I was boxing up all our steak and was very apologetic and said that their shipment must have not arrived. I totally understand that things are delayed but we would have ordered something else if we had known.“

“We go out of our way 35 minutes from where we live at to visit this one that gives you so much more food than our local 1 does the grilled chicken look so much better bigger fatter pieces and they've never messed up on our order at this place. Tonight I want to thank the manager for fixing an error. I had put in an online order this afternoon called to change the pick up time to 4pm. got there and It wasn't ready someone overlooked the order. but the manager fixed it ...we got home our order was perfectly done. thank you!
